Fledgling Fyora chaosinwriting
Just a quick question about how many people still play this game. I don't want to get into this only to have my work tested by a few. I know that some of you are die hard fans of this game and your work is definitely of a higher caliber than I could produce on my first attempt. I'd just like to put my chips in with the rest of you if there is still a sizable pot.
Easygoing Eyebeast Enraged Slith
There are a few of us who still make things, albeit slowly. I like to imagine that there is a large and secret fanbase who sit at their keyboards, f5ing on the hour, waiting for the next release. In this fantasy, I am a celebrity and Kill Them Dead is the very air they breathe. I would be lying if I said there was a thriving community, but the few of us around are always looking for new designers and are very helpful in that regard. Unfortunately, at this point in time, at least half of wanting to make a scenario is going to have to come from a personal desire to make something, rather than a desire to have a lot of people play it. People will play anything you make, it's just not going to be on the scale of, say, the number of people who play DoTA for Warcraft III. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Count me as a player.
Unflappable Drayk Toby-Linn
I may not play very often, but I still download every new scenario so that I have them on my computer and ready for when I do feel like playing. Just want to finish the Geneforge series first before I get really into BoA.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Count me in too. Geneforge 5 may be distracting people in recent months.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
I would consider playing it. I don't play BoA that often, but I do like to play it sometimes.
Magnificent Ornk Swimmin' Salmon
I play, and beta-test, and occasionally open the editor in the hopes I have gained skilz through some magical conduit. Just, not regularly. Life has a way of interfering. Even G5 is on the back burner for me, I've only gotten to the second zone...
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
Oh, yeah, hi. I both play and regularly design for BoA.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Duck in a Top Hat
First of all, count me as a player. If you're worried about a lack of people, I wouldn't be. I mean, it's not like the number of pokemon fans on the gamefaqs forum, but there is enough. And if you're worried about spending your money on a game with no fan-base, then try Blades of Exile. It's free, and it definitely has a bigger fan-base than this. There must be hundreds of scenarios already.
Seasoned Roamer Shrapy
I've got BoA. I play it. Not a designer though
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I play occasionally, but not recently.
Kyshakk Koan Smoo
I just finished The Eternal and started playing Incorruptible. I'm also still trying to finish The Triple Valley. I don't design as much as I used to. I blame work and school.
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
I didn't spot a review, Smoo.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
I have played and designed a couple of BoA scenarios.

Magnificent Ornk nikki.
Salmon, you're always welcome to review. I assumed the kid had stolen all your time. That said, feel free to do so. Also, The Eternal is still up at my site. For Mac For PC These should be the versions that are on the CSR.
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
I have a registered copy of BoA, and play it when the mood hits me. However, I rarely post in the BoA forums, and anything I do design stays on my computer and collects dust.
Understated Ur-Drakon Callie
I play BoA, beta-test, and judge and review scenarios. I've been making a scenario on and off for two years (even though it's very small, I never seem satisfied with what I'm doing so I end up coming back to it several months later), though I doubt it will ever reach the light of day because I simply don't put forth enough effort. Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
I never played all that much to begin with (designed more than I played, by a fair margin), but you can count me as sort of part of this.

Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
I don't know if you've been paying attention, but a lot of people actually have been boycotting Shadow Vale lately. I will be playing BoA once I've caught up with the Exile trilogy.
Easygoing Eyebeast Enraged Slith
Don't you mean like three people?
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
Maybe. I haven't counted. I haven't boycotted it, anyway.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
A Blades of Geneforge or Blades of Nethergate might revive interest in the BoA game itself. But these won't happen any time in the foreseeable future. I could easily whip up a template based upon the Nethergate towns and outdoor zones, there is currently an Avernum 2 Template. The interesting Druid spell game mechanics would be very tough indeed. A Blades of Geneforge template would be like trying to have a BoE template based upon Avernum or Nethergate, tough going again. Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
I've only been trying to catch up with Exile. Avernum has the same story and Geneforge doesn't really interest me. Why do you say that?
Well-Actually War Trall Acky
It's a personal observment. You have frequiently mentioned that you need to "catch up" on pretty much every game series at one point or another.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
I think I've just been mentioning catching up on Exile, BoE and BoA, frequently.
