Well then the only possible explanation is your re-installation didn't overwrite the game files. What to do : Uninstall the game, manually delete anything else that remains (except your save-files) and then install the game. And start a new game. You might want to try each game out for about 15 minutes or so, before picking one out. You should know what level of interface/graphics you require to keep yourself entertained as in general if you get used to playing the newer and eye-candy filled SW games, as Triumph says, it becomes harder to adjust to the older ones.

Just play enough of it to realize how awesome A:Eftp really is. It certainly is an interesting contrast from the game-developer's point of view.

Most people seem to have graphics first, gameplay/audio second and storyline third in their order of priorities for ticking out a Good Game. All game developers who make games for money must therefore follow the same or similar order. Have you played any of Ikiki's games - they're japanese, free and totally awesome as his games aren't made to please the majority of the gaming market.
