For a super powerful archmage he strikes me as pretty pathetic. He spends all his time reading trashy novels and moping over the demons outside his tower. Oh, wait he is also terrified of assassins! Erika who seems to be in the exact same position as him, deep in empire territory and possibly with just the same level of magical power as him, spends her time pissing off incoming troops and devising nasty traps to fill up the outside areas of her tower, while at the same time planning more and greater revenges against the empire. I don't know if he says anything different later in the game but upon the first time I reached him he seemed oddly afraid to do anything and couldn't give a straight answer to why he was in exile. If he is powerful enough to have a bedroom teleporter to secret areas where there is another teleporter keyed to behind his tower he is definitely powerful enough to have his own pylon. And if he could protect his tower he could certainly add anti-demon protection wherever he travels or at least move it out of a lava pit where demons spawn from!

Either it's a bug or you did the reset boats cheat. If so, then use the backtostart cheat and you'll find the boat in the beginning again. If it's a bug then reset the boats also and it should(might) bring it back.

I just read Elderans cursed spellbook and got a second dread curse, (first was the dark thoughts) and it also sets it to 1 Dread Curse instead of 2 Dread Curse. So not every Dread Curse is equal, i guess.

This game has the worst version of the honeycomb. Two levels and all outdoors with pathways leading out of sight in all directions, it's quite confusing.

She teleports away about a turn before I can kill her. Is there any consequence of not killing her right away? As a side point, Erika doesn't sound trapped in empire lands. She seems to be pretty much enjoying all the attacks on the tower.

i'm pretty sure that the way steam works is by specifically not letting you have a cd key. thats why i tend to stick with GOG.com and humblebundle.com. even though humble bundle tends to sneak in steam requirements anyways pretty often, most games are DRM free.
