  1. Huh - that's not it, because my test character didn't have any penalties. But this morning the math seems to check out, so ... chalk it up to playing too late/long? So far, no friendly spiders in Queen's Wish ... 😞
  2. So, if I can believe what the "Speed Bonus:" row in the character info screen (?/Magic tab, e.g.) says, there's no gain to having more than one 6% and one 4% Speed augment on your equipment, even across multiple pieces of equipment. That is, let's say I have two 6% and two 4% Speed augments. I put one of each on a helm, and one of each on a shield. Seems like that should give a 20% bonus ... but it's only reported (again, on the ?/Magic tab) as 10%. My question is ... is that right? Can I only get 10% Speed bonus from Augments? Or is there a bug in character info screen? Other Augment bonus's (damage, say) DO show as stacking (like if you have 'em on both a helm and weapon), but Speed seems different. I'd rather not be wasting augment slots to no effect ... EDIT: Damage would be Runes, not Augments - but Healing Augments seem to all add.
  3. So, I'm making good progress in A6, but took a break last month to do some, um, real work for a bit. I return to play, only to discover that harehunter.info seems to be gone! Oh, it's OK - I downloaded the zip file. Except - apparently the link pointed to the A4 files, not A6! Anyone have the A6 annotated maps? I mean, they're minimally annotated compared to the earlier games, but still very useful. Or maybe there's a harehunter mirror I don't know about?
  4. South Poryphra Road I noticed this map was missing from the FAQ, and searching the forums brings up very little, so as a service to future searchers ... South Poryphra Road (which I always want to type as "Porphyra" for some reason) Lots of energy fields. There's a control switch near the SE entrance (not sure what it does, as I came from the N), and a panel in a room with (neutral, for me) serviles to the NW. The enemy is 3 or 4 Golems that spout fire when sufficiently damaged. They drop crystals when dead. There's also an ally Golem you can repair to help on this map (using NW Control Panel). That panel is where you put Alwan's crystal key (which I obtained by asking him something like "Anything else you can help with?" at the end of the chapter), and turns off some pylons. Repairing the ally Golem and one set of pylons takes Living Tools even with the crystal key. Behind spore mines (no baton disarm?) to the SW - Sapphire Legplates On body to the W - Golden Crystal, Shaped Fiber Cloak, Flamecaster's Shawl, Shaped Breastplate, Wand of the Inferno. EDIT: Almost forgot: A room NW with some minor items and a Create Wingbolt Cannister. I did this late in the chapter (after almost everything else) - it might be interesting trying it early, to get the items, but I'm not sure how nasty/tricky the fields are without Alwan's key.
