The new graphics for the shaper equipment actually isn't bad. Maybe even better. I think Jeff needed to upgrade all the graphics because the old ones were really outdated. Most of those graphics were seen in the old avrrnum trilogy.

There's lots of items that give bonus to QA too. Also if this is G2 I suggest puTting points into Parry because its very powerful. Get it up to 10 at least, but high teens would be even better. Oh and I suggest putting at least one point in blessing magic since magic will be essential to your survival in G2.

If you like battle shaping I recommend getting the clawbug reward in the testing halls east of promenade. Clawbugs will tear right through the entire demo area

I remember reading somewhere that someone used dominate to charm the spawner so that its own creAtions would attack. Talk about fighting dirty :-). In the early geneforge games spawners were not immune to mental effects, so it was possible to charm them.

Would it also depend on when in the game the creations was made? Creations get stronger in the long run when they are leveled up. Its useful for warrior type classes such as the Guardian, or Servile. ~RainbowDashRadical

Fully agree with your last paragraph Triumph. I appreciate that one can choose to pay the higher price, and the lower price if they so desire. Heck, if you really want to support Spiderweb Software, buy 2 or 3 copies of one game. I also appreciate that the game's are being released on multiple platforms now. I tend to use more than one platform, though windows is my main gaming choice. Jeff really has done well with his business, and definitely deserves the extra publicity, customers, and money . In the early games, there was a bug where you could use crystals to kill a target, and the area wouldn't go hostile. I think that was removed in G2 though. I have never used pyroroamers. I wonder if perhaps I could expiriment with a Shaper that relies on Pyroamers throughout the game. Though which Geneforge game would be the most optimal?
