This has been answered already in three or four other threads. Obviously, it was for the same reason anyone is canned: for spamming. Seriously, someone should put it in the board header or something.

They're still creations. Shapers create them, just not the player's particular Shaper.

But since it's been resurrected, I'll just say that my favorite creation is the Mind. Minds are funny.

Read the instruction manual if you haven't already. Remember, you can click on words in the dialogue to ask about them. That's how you have conversations in the Exile games.

He made it automatic? That sucks. I think he should have made it optional instead.

That's pretty cool. Next to the Minds, the Thahds are my favorite creations. I still have to get through GF1&2, but when I get to GF3, I'll keep your advice in mind. Stughalf tells me that Thahds look different in GF3 than they do in the first two games. What do they look like now? I can't find out myself since I have Windows.

Gizmo, are you saying that spreading the joy of BoE isn't a worthy cause?

Not only does it come with the game, it's actually free with the demo. If you have the demo, you probably already have the editor.

The Radiant Slith Spear you get from a nest guarded by a Shambler in Upper Avernum. You need to go up the river by boat (you get it in New Cotra, I believe, but it's been a while since I've played) until you reach a swamp. Travel through the swamp and when you get to the nest and take the spear, the shambler attacks you. And AFAIR, there are several different spellshards. Once each day, you can use it to cast a spell. I think. I could be wrong.

XP has a nice feature. If you go into the Start menu, go to Settings, Control Panel, Mouse, and then the Pointer Options tab, you can set it so when you press Ctrl on the keyboard, a grey circle surrounds and zones in on the cursor. As for the cursor literally disappearing, I'm not sure what causes this. All I know is after clicking and pressing lots of different things, it eventually comes back.

EDIT: Thought better of it.

Also, there are no other major quests in the unregistered version. There's minor quests like the New Formello murders, the bandit/goblin/wolf lair, the unicorn lair, and the Spiral Crypt, however. There may be others too, I don't remember.
