  1. I like the giant mushrooms too. Their graphic is so cool. I also wish there were more types.
  2. You probably have the graphics shifted a pixel to the right in the file then. Make sure there's no space between the black line and the edge of the image.
  3. Name you wish to be referred to by in the scenario's credits: The Almighty Doer of Stuff Email address: Zeeqon5@yahoo.com AIM screenname (if any): Zeeqon5 Platform (Mac/Windows): Windows XP. BoE Playing Skill: Not much. BoE Design Experience: Lots. Betatesting Experience: Bandits, Corporeus, Witch Or Worse, Nephil Cave, that scenario by Aruneko with the trash men. I think I'm forgetting something, but I'm not sure. Is this scenario very difficult?
  4. Press Prt Scrn (next to Scroll Lock) and then go into Paint of PSP or Photoshop or whatever you use and paste it as a new image. Then save it. Yes, the red circles are added in the graphics program.
  5. Then no. Terrain and thumbnails must be in separate files. Rows of ten. If you meant terrain, why the link to the items thing?
  6. Moderators are human too, you know. They don't get their positions for knowing everything about the game the forum is for. People are made moderators to enforce the rules of the message board fairly. Brett, I don't quite understand what you're saying. You mean that instead of having graphics arranged like XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX in separate sheets, they're arranged like XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX ? If that's the case, you can have more than one row of item graphics in a sheet, I believe.
  7. And big tough monsters != good fight. Someone should just compile all the typical replies to this type of topic so it will go away. I'm getting sick of seeing it.
  8. Okay. But that still doesn't tell me how to get back to the secret tunnel.
  9. You need to attach a Stuff Done Flag. The fields are the top of the Special Node window. I believe they say Stuff Done Part A and Stuff Done Part B. Enter a SDF there. If you don't understand SDFs, refer to the instructions or an online tutorial.
  10. You know that mysterious secret tunnel in the third area that leads directly to the Shaper capital? In the western wall, there's a secret door that leads to a portal that leads to the emergency water supply in Fort Emergence from Exile III. Is there anything I can do here, and how do I get back?
  11. *makes mental note on how not to run a software company* The goatse website has been taken down due to violating the rules of its host. Were it still up, I'd consider sending the images to her.
  12. SmirfofDoom, kindly stick your head in a furnace. By the way, I believe you misspelled "Smurf".
  13. You can't steal it. To do so means INSTA-DEATH. I suppose if you hacked into the game or something, you could hypothetically get it, but it's really not worth the effort.
  14. I like the slimes. Slimes are awesome. Slimes automatically make any RPG better. I like the Exile slimes best, followed by Beyond Oasis slimes.
  15. Regardless of whether we can sympathize with the minds, they're still amusing. I think they're very amusing creatures. Especially the one in the Hill of Jars. He's funny. Ha ha ha. Um... FRESH PRODUCE FOR SALE! |*/=| This has been a useless spam message brought to you by The Almighty Doer of Stuff. |=\*
  16. Quote: Originally written by Lady Davida: There's something that none of you have mentioned yet, though, about this parallel. If there is a God as I believe, a purely good entity, Shapers are not his equal. First, Shapers are more like scientists than gods - they create with research, magic, etc., and they, themselves, had to come into existance somehow. They were created. Subsets of God, maybe, but not God himself. Second, Shapers are obviously not purely good. That should be self-explanitory. To rebel against pure good is pure idiocy; to rebel against the Shapers, however, is another matter entirely. DIOS/BSC (what do you want me to call you on Spiderweb?), your breakdown left out plenty of grey space. What about those, like me, who accept the divine, avoid the licking of testicles, go our own independant way, but allow God to guide us when he wants and work for him when possible? I wouldn't consider myself a fundie, but I wouldn't exactly consider myself an agnostic, either. There's plenty of space in between. In fact, David, the God you believe in is not necessarily pure good. Unless I'm mistaken, the Obeyers seem to think the Shapers can do no wrong, much like you think your god can do no wrong. You, sir, are the lady with the books.

He says he thinks he updated it about half a year ago, but he's not sure. I just sent him an original NPC, some stupid geometric monsters, four slimes, and some paintings though. If anyone wants them, ask me.
  18. TM actually did leave in a bout of anger once. He came back a month or two later (I don't actually remember how long) to support Logalot in the Misc. moderator elections. As far as I know, TM didn't show up in 2001. He first joined much earlier, I think. It's just that Spidweb switched from Ikonboard to UBB in September of 2001, so that's the earliest you'll see in the Registered field. And I would hardly consider myself an oldbie. EDIT: I think this holds the record for the most times I've ever edited a post. I think I just edited it about 8 times.
  19. I believe Imban pulled something out of the bowels of Misc a couple months ago. I'm pretty sure that's an older topic revival than this one.
  20. Okay, fine. Instead, I'll say I dislike cleegflorblies. That's the new name for the thing I described. Creator is not a cleegflorblie. I suppose "hate" was the wrong word though. I suppose it would be better said as "Cleegflorblies annoy me." Note that I am agnostic, not atheist. TM is atheist, but also a cleegflorblie. Cleegflorblie. Ha.
  21. "Fundie" is short for "fundamentalist" which is a person who not only is very religious, but also who dislikes people who are not of their religion, and takes their religion to be absolute, undeniable truth, even when offered evidence to the contrary. The simple fact that you play these games without freaking out about the magic and the fact that you don't hate TM (even though he may say you do) shows that you are not a fundie.
