  3. You have a room, across the hall from Natalie's room. There's a desk and a dresser in there where you can store things.
  4. I think their server overloaded. I tried reloading the page and Safari says the server isn't available.
  5. I think in this case, Brandon should be one of those NPCs who never turns violent, like the ogres and the pit master in Spire.
  6. You have to wander through, fighting stuff and finding the gate wheels and secret passage buttons until you can get a character to the far end of the room with the pit and the pentagrams.
  7. It is not possible to get to Solberg with the Orb. Only by boat. How to get a boat if you've killed the only guy on the river who sells them, I don't know.

  9. The switch for the well room is VERY hard to find. Try shaking hands with the statues against the north wall (not the talking statue).

I'd say the best way to improve and differentiate the skills would be to have Battle Disciplines specific to each combat type along with the general disciplines.

    Why?

You will need some melee skills to get Adrenaline Rush anyway, so you can go a bit up Hardiness and Parry if you want, or Priest Spells, or Tool Use and Cave Lore. Why do you say you will need some melee skills to get Adrenaline Rush? One of the parties I played for fun was two melee fighters, an archer, and a hedge wizard (priest/mage combo). The archer reached every battle discipline without a single point on the melee side of the tree. And, AR can actually be more useful for an archer than a melee fighter, as you can hit a wider range of targets without the need to move. With the melee characters, I'd get them into position to have multiple targets, then activate AR and get three attacks. With the archer, I could get 4 attacks each time, 5 if Battle Frenzy was up and the first shot was a half-cost sniper shot. When I was using Cloak of Bolts, before I could get to Cloak of Blades, the Archer was often my most effective fighter. Certainly was very helpful against any enemy that puts up a spine shield. Of course, I was just playing on Normal. I'm not terribly interested in Torment difficulty and total optimization. The one thing I wish Jeff would do for archers was allow the characters to get the skill that some of the enemy Elite Archers get to spray arrows across an area.

It is tedious, but I used it for the Spectral Commander once when I was low on consumables. An easier way to get both is in the Shattered Fort or whatever it's called west of the Tower of Magi. There's an altar there near the entrance that gives Cloak of the Arcane and Ward of Elements together.
  16. Most of them are inexhaustible, but the pools near Formello (there's another that does Cloak of Curses) have a limited number of uses. I'm not sure of the exact limitation, but there comes a time when it tells you the water tastes foul.
  17. Yes, that's where Aydin is. You should check out a nearby pond.

  19. Yes, as Solberg told you when he gave you the quest, you have to take the parts to the smith in Fort Draco to test his repair skills. As for the "Works of Magery" thing, I think that just got stuck on there. No reason for it that I've ever found.

He'll direct you from there. I didn't remember Entwhistle saying anything about Scab. I thought it was only the Scimitar agent who mentioned him.
  21. You can pick a fight with her if you have first gathered the information about bandits near Fort Saffron, but you don't actually need to fight her to get to the circlet. There's another way, but to get all of the information you need without fighting her you have to be a member of Scimitar first. Then you get to talk to a series of people to gather the information necessary (and have a few fights).
  22. It is the correct file. Don't worry. The drag-and-drop installation does not change anything in the preferences files where your registration is stored.
  23. And don't forget to pick up that key from the castle first. I keep forgetting it and having to run back to get it. Patrick tells you where and the book in his secret room tells you how.
