  1. Hello ! I've been playing for a while and I got loads of items that I don't wanna sell right away (I want to wait till I find better prices for my stuff). Is there a place (my home/quarters) I can place all those stuff ? Currently all the stuff is distributed between my party.

Honestly, the proper balance for maximum power is "invest in Dexterity, ignore Strength, use missile weapons exclusively". Shadowwalkers and Blademasters both have excellent ranged combat abilities. But if you do want a melee character, it's viable to invest mostly in Strength and just accept that you'll be getting hit a whole lot -- it gets pretty painful on higher difficulties, though. The reason I wanted to use melee weapons is that they do MUCH higher damage then ranged/magic. I got this almost useless "pet-charmer" in my party and she can't even kill that goblinlike weakling with two hits, while my ninja and swordmaster usually get them with one hit. Also the shadow-walker have melee based skills, like poison weapon (15%) and it's level 3 (which I don't have yet) "hit everyone" skill - I think they only work with melle weapons.
  3. In many other games the Ninja's/Scout/Rouge most important skill that you need to always increase was Dexterity because in those games it also effect the damage done. But as in this game I play the Ninja aka Shadow-walker with swords - should I increase strength more then dexterity ? 4. It's the same as saying that you can run all Spiderweb games on Linux using Dosbox or/and Wine. Sure, they would run - but that doesn't make them a Linux games and most Linux users won't pay for them. On that note, we LOVE to support those who support our OS, I bought many games that I didn't play (more then an hour) just to support the developers.

That may be true, but it does not change the fact that many professional "Mac ports" of Windows games are really just the Windows game in a Cider wrapper. Perhaps you cannot publish a Wine port, but many companies do. Well, most (about 98%) of Linux ports that were ported by Ryan Gordon (the one who ported Avadon) were "clean" ports without Wine stuff. (BTW he also made lots of MacOS ports). Also LGP doesn't use Wine in porting it's games to Linux. I'm not saying that there are no developers who use Cider/Wine in porting their games, but the majority of the Linux ports are "clean".

If the program functions fine through Wine, why bother going to the bother of actually porting the code? Because Wine uses Microsoft stuff, and if Microsoft want they can "shutdown" Wine at will. That is why I so happy that one of Spiderweb games finally got a native Linux client.
  7. Hello ! For a long time I've wanted to play your games under a native Linux client, and although the porting should have been easy to make (considering you already have a MacOS client) they never came But now finally Avadon came out for the HiB and I'm glad it did. Started playing and can't let it go (love old school games, but could only play The Eschelon series as it has a native Linux clients). I hope that you let Ryan to port your other games to Linux and your upcoming titles. Thanks Maxim.
