You can't make them leave peacefully, so you'll have to fight them. You only need to complete two of Melanchion's missions to get the endgame, if you want Avernum to stay in power. If you support Avernum, I would do only the Slith and the Darkside Loyalist missions.

Its up to people to believe. Just because he's on a "serious" station doesn't change the message.

Carlin completely uprooted the possibility of a supreme power and declared that the unalienable rights most people enjoy are nothing more then privileges, that an. Beck is stating that Obama is some sort of secret Marxist leader that is attempting to overthrow the current ultimate power of the world and replace it with a Soviet-esque regime. I know that sounds like I'm being self-defeating wording it like that. The way I see it though, Carlin was saying every citizen of America is really completely out of control of their government (which has happened to past nations), and Beck is asserting that our government and economy are intentionally being forced into collapse. The thing that connects them is both are too opinionated and shouldn't be taken seriously. Sure, Glen Beck is on a "serious" news station instead of HBO, but the best stars are the ones that stand out. He never cites his sources or explains where he gets his upsurd accusations, so he isn't a real news anchor, and therefore should not be treated as such.

From a political standpoint, I don't really agree with them. The core of their members are well off middle class families. From my understanding, the health care bill will help poor people primarily, while putting more stress on the upper and middle class families. Which is fine. I can understand them not wanting to loose money. But they seem to think that anyone can work hard and live the "American dream". This is not so. There is an alarmingly large percent of our population stuck in a cycle of poverty they cannot get out of. Still, I can't really hate them for trying to hold on to their money. I would certainly do the same if I was in their positions. What I don't like is the constant, belligerent attacks they endure about their supposed racism. Its just flat out not true or accurate at all. Having actually been to a Tea Party rally, I didn't see anything hostile about it. It's a peaceful protest, if for reasons and means I don't agree with. Most of them were caucasian, true, but that's just because the majority of white people are better off financially, while black people are still integrating into "upper" society, (Of course, maybe if we didn't spend all our money on rims and liquor we'd actually have some money >_>) so it really isn't a racism problem.

IMHO, the last themed contest never got a scenario published. The 24hr one got scenario's released, which is more important then anything, even if isn't finished (And going on its 1 year anniversary.)
