Understated Ur-Drakon Nioca
I voted for other. How could one forget Erika?!?
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
I can forgive the lack of Rentar, but there's no Erika and no Aimee. That's ridiculous. Enla and Ostoth deserve spots too. Silverio, Mairwen, Aydin, and Kyanan all made repeat appearances and deserve to be on the list more than some who are. And Seles and Vidrain are certainly no less notable than "Formello's Wizard." Are you talking about Miles? Alice? Townsend? ...please. Curious Artila striker
I go for Erika , i suppose they were all great , but Erika was the strongest one and the feared one by the empire..beside she is the one who made Avernum a place possible to live in by creating many things.... Understated Ur-Drakon Callie
*slaps self in face* How did I forget Erika? I feel ashamed of myself, and I'm in the middle of playing A2.

Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
I can't explain it. Then again, I barely get it myself.
Well-Actually War Trall Emperor Tullegolar
I'm glade it doesn't include Erika, it would have been one sided if it did. Rentar probably wouldn't have changed any votes except mine. As for my vote, I picked the one that went up against almost every other mage on that list and put up a good fight while doing so. Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Different Thompson. That was Thompson the somewhat bizarre Kids in the Hall parody, not Thompson the mage.

Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
I voted for X as the top mage. Us crazy people are always the most sane.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
So you are the exeption?
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
Sort of. Simply put, there's a method to my madness in that it's purely by choice. I'm just as sane as everyone else.
Easygoing Eyebeast Zeviz
I voted for X because he was the most amusing one. Garzahd might be a champion in personal combat, Erika does more good deeds, and Rentar is more destructive, but none of them are developing an anvil-dropping spell. Unflappable Drayk Jeran Korak
X, for the same reasons. -Nija, who personally thinks that A4 would have a hard time with an anvil spell simply because of the grahics engine.
Understated Ur-Drakon Callie
Even if A4 could support an anvil spell, I think X will never achieve his goal.
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
I doubt that too. He could probably use some kind of teleport spell, but I don't think he realizes it.
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
I'm not sure about that; I think X is aiming to be able to summon an anvil at an appropriate height, not just move one from elsewhere. Otherwise the spell would be of very limited utility; if the spell relied solely on redistribution of existing anvils, there would be the danger that halfway between the initial height and the monster's head, another wizard would whisk it away again. Very unsatisfactory, in order to avoid this you would need to set up some kind of timeshare agreement on the anvils, but then the spell would only be available part of the time. Nope, summoning is much better. Unfortunately the existing spells only summon living creatures, not anvils.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I think the anvil spell uses an existing anvil since in the Exile series X was interested in locating the largest anvil. Most summoning spells mention bring existing creatures to your aid and not creating them.
