  2. I personally like the guardian claymore better but the difference in damage (and the fact that my strength and quick action are high by the time there is a puresteel blade available) makes me reluctantly change to the puresteel. Dikiyoba.
  3. Maybe, but all the Sholai show signs of going mad in G1. Except Trajkov, who is able to handle the power. Barely, but still able. Dikiyoba.
  4. And I don't disagree. But as awesome as they are, they still aren't much use. I do dislike pink-and-black color scheme, though. If they were orange or red with black they'd be much better. The ability to make exploding slimes in G4 would be interesting as well... Dikiyoba.
  5. A mistake like that is understandable. It seems odd that the Silvar mayor gives you the quest for a mission near Cotra. Dikiyoba.
  6. It could be both and or others option as well: 3. With more options for learning skills, spells, and creations, the canisters are no longer necessary to play the game. Therefore, using them becomes a choice and the point of the series is that you choices affect the outcome. 4. The characters you play as are different. In G1, you are an ordinary apprentice just trying to get off of the island and the canisters are neccessary. In G3, you are an exceptionally talented apprentice. I think the G3 character would be more ambitious, especially since they are meeting important Shapers and affecting events directly. The G3 character would probably have a harder time beating the side effects of the canisters than the G1 character. G2 is some sort of middle ground. Dikiyoba.
  7. Quote: I heard somebody saying about the Nephilim not being able to say long words? Who the hell said that!? Ever heard my vat [cat] meow? he could have meowed for about 8 seconds non-stop, with such an intensity, such a loudness, that the whole family could go crazy. Now don't start telling me about the Nephilim, being descended from cats, that they can't say long words. No, Dikiyoba hasn't, though Dikiyoba's cat is part Siamese. The meows don't last long but each meow is loud and repeated until the cat is gratified. Spoiled brat of a cat! Dikiyoba liked it better when she was a kitten and could chirp. Dikiyoba wonders if young nephil have that ability... Edit: Added a sentence.
  8. I saw the list of items somewhere and there's about four or five found in Rentar's Fortess. They could be the best items in the game (for all I know, they are) and they would be about as useful as pyroroamers. Artifacts at the end only work if they give you an ability to go back and do something that you couldn't have done before. At least, that is Dikiyoba's opinion.
  9. Clearly, Alorael's memory isn't failing Alorael that badly. Huh? What was Dikiyoba talking about?

  11. I take it you, too, Lenar Labs, have interest in languages? .eja amaja eka. Dikiyoba.
  12. It might make it a little bit easier if the three sidekicks can help out with something the fluent speaker forgot. Also, four adventurers who aren't fluent but know some of a different language would probably help each other out quite a bit. Dikiyoba can't believe that there isn't anywhere where one can buy the highest spells, just not up to level three.
  13. At least you can figure out the SDF in Blades of Avernum if you really wanted too... Dikiyoba.
  14. Trying looking up a few posts to refresh your memory. Of course, there could be another bonus to endurance somewhere else. Dikiyoba.

  16. Dikiyoba thinks Avernites need to destroy monster hideouts or to take them over before they get reused. Edit: Sig change.
  17. They're nice. The clawbugs graphics are good for clawbugs but can't compare with those graphics for chitraches. Dikiyoba hopes it all works out.
  18. Actually, I was more interested in the screenshots since I have Windows. I'm wondering why defense and hardiness have been moved from combat skills to general skills. Dikiyoba would think that it is funny that the human character is named "Ssschah" but it's not worth it.
  19. I don't remember there being too negative of consequences in the end text of G2 if you were a loyal Shaper, assuming all of the missions were completed. If you don't complete all the quests, well, that was different. Dikiyoba. Edit: Minor rephrasing.
  20. The madness power of the canisters seem to be growing with each game. Soon they will be so powerful that just one canister will send the user into a homicidal rage. Innocent bystander: Hi! Mad Shaper: Fool! I'll smite you! Smite! Innocent bystander: Ahh! Smite! Mad Shaper: That was easy. Hey you! Quit looking at me! Smite! Dikiyoba.
  21. That makes sense. And it may also explain why he didn't get a replacement for Cheeseball. But he didn't seem very impressive in A2 either. Dikiyoba can't wait for the windows version of A4 to come out so Dikiyoba can find all this out on Dikiyoba's own. Edit: Rephrasing.
  22. From A2, I thought Solberg was supposed to be some demon-fighting specialist, yet he needs an adventurer's help? Dikiyoba.
  23. Chitrach. Chitrachs. Dikiyoba.
  24. No, they would be less useful. At some point, something becomes so low that only something lower can be better. And if the stupid pyroroamers were gone, maybe they could be replaced with something better. Dikiyoba also thinks the idea of exloding slimes is funny. Gloop, gloop, boom!
  25. Moral of the discussion: Don't sell anything that looks odd or interesting the first time through. Dikiyoba.
