  1. In the section with Hustess (sp?) and the three shades. It's in a corner of the zone and the Ornk Lord itself is triggered by a special encounter, so it's easy to miss. But there are about half a dozen or so exploding ornks in that corner. Dikiyoba.
  2. Dikiyoba has six, but only sleeps with three. Two of the extras are packed for vacation and the third is for Dikiyoba's cat to sleep on. Edit: Typo.
  3. Based on the one damaging floor type in Geneforge, it doesn't. Dikiyoba.
  4. Based on the one damaging floor type in Geneforge, it doesn't. Dikiyoba.
  5. And we're all self-made millionaires (or will be). None of that cheap "inheriting the family fortune" stuff. Everyone here could be just as successful if they wanted to. Another successful post for Dikiyoba.
  6. arghhhhhhhhh, Dikiyoba is speaking to you and you alone. Please pay close attention. What was the point of bringing up this topic again for this point? There wasn't one. Please don't start topics or bring up week-old topics unless you have something worth saying. You say you don't want to be banned. Well, your behavior says the exact opposite. If you ever want people to take you seriously you, you have to follow people's requests, obey the Code of Conduct, and use common sense. The next time someone posts and tell you how to do something, actually do what they say.
  7. Shaping higher-level ornks leads to mad ornk disease. If you don't believe Dikiyoba, you haven't throughly explored G1. Edit: There is a quote button, strange shaper. Just hit the quotation marks to quote an entire person's post or copy the section you want, hit the quote button on the reply screen, and put the text between the quote commands.
  8. And if you think that's bad, you should see what the "Num Lk" button does. Dikiyoba.
  9. You mean a screen shot? If it's on a PC, just hit the "Prnt Scrn" button. If it's on a Mac, I have no idea. If you mean something else, I don't know what it is. Dikiyoba.
  10. I've seen it twice. Once here, once in the Avernum forum. Dikiyoba.
  11. I imagine that it exists, it's just not on the character stat page, just like energy resistance isn't. There is a section where you take "cold" damage, after all. Dikiyoba.
  12. It's actually "ihateserviles." (Minus the period, of course.) Dikiyoba.
  13. Maybe the existence of magic alters the laws of physics in ways we cannot determine. Dikiyoba.
  14. I wonder how one accesses the Shaper forum. Probably takes a mechanics skill of 30 and a magic shaping skill of 10 to create a shaped computer or a leadership skill of 20 to convince others to let you borrow theirs. Dikiyoba.
  15. Sometimes the shaded area just gets messed up when it is over non-walkable terrain. Dikiyoba.
  16. All quotes originally by Nick Ringer: Quote: So my question is: are we just fueling the argument here? Not anymore. The argument over drakons is done in this topic unless I_am_a_Minotaur or someone else brings it back up. Quote: Don't let me put words in Dikiyoba's mouth, but I'm pretty sure his "giant spider" suggestion was, in fact, sarcastic. I was aiming for mild humor rather than sarcasm, but it certainly wasn't intended to be taken seriously. If by some chance arachnid shaping does appear in G4, well, I won't complain. Quote: Might Slith not also have nipples? If you can find them, then sliths are mammals. Until then, Dikiyoba is convinced that slithzerakai are highly evolved reptiles due to their egg-laying, lack of hair, and difficulty regulating body temperature.
  17. Ahhh! Too... many... little... faces... must... resist... urge... to... outdo... Dikiyoba.
  18. I think the two crystals that need to be broken are the two very large, rounded crystals very close to where the portal will appear. I think. Dikiyoba.
  19. Nope. Considering the fact that I only own A2, it would be hard for me to get confused. There's a small rakshasi lair somewhere in the Great Cave close to Fort Remote. It's been a long time since I've played it, too, but I remember doing that. Multiple times. Dikiyoba.
  20. Actually, another Geneforge wouldn't be so bad. However, it has to be something the main character can use. If the main character can't use it, then I don't really care. There's no last minute decisions to be made. (Do I use it or destroy it? Or do I use it and then destroy it?) It's just destroy it and go home. The decision would be even more interesting if there were bonus sections that could only be accessed (or possible to beat without major effort) once the Geneforge had been used. Dikiyoba.
  21. In A2, Dikiyoba's party keeps every pillow they run across and later move them all to the rakshasi lair so that the party has somewhere comfortable to retire to once they complete all the game quests.
  22. I'd like to see the scenarios that are currently out but buggy, short, unbalanced, and filled with typos but have a relatively (it's a matter of opinion, I know) good premise fixed up than have more bad scenarios created. Dikiyoba plays the good scenarios more than once as opposed to the bad ones, which get played halfway through and then thrown away. Edit: Dikiyoba hasn't seen an error message when trying to post before. And yet it's oddly appropriate that it happened in this topic.
  23. Originally by Delicious Vlish: Quote: And there will be bitter complaints from Geneforge fans, about the corruption of their series by hateful Avernum elements. Nonsense. After the new Shaper graphic of G3 and the squashed profiles in the inventory screen, corruption by Avernum is the least of graphic worries. Wait, Dikiyoba remembers something about a giant boat... Edit: If it makes TesabilityBlack feel better, Dikiyoba clearly realized TesabilityBlack was a girl.
