  1. It looks like you linked to the Windows version twice. The Mac version is http://blades.nethergate.net/SkirmishBeta1Mac.zip
  2. I had to look most of these up on the Dragonlance wiki, as some are from books I haven't read in at least 15 years, and some are from books I never read at all. Khisanth, Khirsah, Hopsloth, and Pyrite all appear in books published in the 80s, so they definitely predate Exile. Pyrothraxus, Malystryx, Mohrlex, Smeltithraxian, and the concept of the five dragon overlords are not mentioned until the late 90s, so those names would not have influenced Jeff. The Othlorx are first mentioned in a book of short stories published in 1994, so it is theoretically possible but unlikely for Jeff to have seen the the name.
  3. Exile predates the addition of Malystryx and the other dragon overlords to the Dragonlance canon.
  4. It's nice to see someone here with the correct opinion about who is best pony.
  5. Different people use their computers in different ways. While he may have more things on his desktop than you have on yours, saying he has "too much stuff" seems to imply there is something wrong with the way he does things. If it works for him, than it isn't too much.
  6. The horse graphics didn't exist in the Nethergate/Avernum engine either until A3 came out, so I wouldn't say the lack of graphics necessarily means that.
  7. I find it bizarre that they consider a game from 2011 to be an "older game."
  8. You need to find the two scraps of paper that show you which order to operate the controls.
  9. Where is your left rear speaker located?
  10. What do I have to do to also get all of the monitors? My desktop PC (not visible in this picture, as it is sitting on the floor) has two video cards in it. There are some newer cards that will drive 4 monitors on their own.
  11. The desk where my personal computer is setup is extremely cluttered and boring, so here is a picture of my work desk.
  12. This is my cat, Phineas.
  13. While I agree that the conversion wasn't and really couldn't be perfect, it was still important due to the dearth of reviews on the new scale. When I ported the CSR reviews, there were many scenarios without any reviews at all here, and plenty that did had only one or two.
  14. I host every BoA scenario on my site, and I'll be happy to put your scenario up once it's released if you email it to me at tyranicus@gmail.com.
  15. I have Asperger Syndrome as well and have dealt with varying degrees of depression for years. Because I was unable to interact socially in the "correct" way when I was younger, I was often regarded as a freak and shunned by my peers. This led to a very low opinion of myself which has never really gone away. Despite the fact that I have since developed better social skills and coping mechanisms to deal with my neuroses, I continue to harbor a deep-seated fear that my friends will realize I'm not worth the effort. In recent years, my depression has been relatively minor. I haven't taken any medication for it in a decade, and it's been a long time since I have considered any kind of self-harm. It's never gone away completely though. I'm not sure I could tell you the last time I was truly happy, if indeed I ever have been. That said, the worst my drepression seems to do anymore when it rears its ugly head is prompt me to stay in bed not doing anything for a few days.
  16. I don't personally understand why pressing esc to leave the inventory is a big deal. It's pretty much universally accepted as a "close this menu" button.
  17. I had the exact same problem and solved it the same way with my hackintosh desktop. My MacBook Pro doesn't have this issue, so I figured it was something with the graphics drivers not dealing with a GPU that actually exists in a Mac, but I guess it's something else.
  18. If I play the game at 2048x1280, 2560x1600, or 2880x1800 on my retina MacBook Pro, I get the box. It's not really an issue for me though, because with a 15" screen, I don't want to play the game at those resolutions anyway.
  19. It does seem that it was replaced with "Large." For anyone who has a screen resolution of 1920x1200 or lower, that means it will take up the whole screen. It seems that higher resolutions don't work that way.
  20. If you send it to me at tyranicus@gmail.com, I'll be happy to host it on my database.
  21. Yeah, I get that a lot with a bunch of different towns. Pathfinding seems to register towns as normal terrain.
  22. I don't know of any retrainers, but you can do it yourself with the editor; you just have to keep track of the points.
