  1. I've always had the same PDN, it's my actual first name and I don't think I'll ever change it. I like people knowing who I am so I go buy the same name in all the forums I'm part of.

  3. Oh my god, those clips were awesome. I especially loved the Sound of Music one. The T-Mobile one is good as well though, because it shows random people just starting to dance (not part of the group in other words). Would I do it? That's a tough one....I don't consider myself a very good dancer. And I would feel embarrassed at the beginning if there's not a lot of people dancing around me. But yeah, it looks like a lot of fun, I might consider it.
  4. That is very creepy....lol I just emailed my boyfriend and told him not to buy that game for his DS...
  5. Mercedes Lackey is awesome, I think my favorite books of hers are the Queens Own series -- Arrows of the Queen, Arrows Flight and Arrows Fall.
  6. I use www.awardspace.com free hosting, which I've found really good. There are no ads that I've noticed...I do have the Ad Block Plus extension though. Also you get 5 email addresses and you can use ftp to upload your files. For a comparison of their different hosting plans: https://www.awardspace.net/web_hosting.html For my website, check out my signature.
  7. Why don't you go look through the various scripts in the game folder and see whether you can find them. I would think that's where they would be. Also, look at the various images in the game folder as they correspond to the two different endings.
  8. Yay! Can't wait till it gets released for Windows. Also, yay for more screenshots!
  9. Here is the last poll we did on which style people preferred: http://www.ironycentral.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=9601&Number=120252 There were 6 users who used the dark style, one who used coffee (me) and 25 who used the spidweb_theme.
  10. Yay, welcome! I finally have company in the coffee theme section!
  11. I am the only user who uses the coffee theme, according to a poll we did on this topic.
  12. I watch a morning news show that gives updates on traffic, weather, etc, and that's basically the only show I watch that has news. I don't usually go looking for news, only when I hear something important from someone, like a colleage or someone on here, then I'll go search for it on google.
  13. Thanks everyone for the congrats! Actually what really helped my post count was playing the first two Darkside Loyalist games and I guess becoming a mod helped too. Or else it would have taken me longer to reach 1000 posts.
  14. It took me quite a while, but finally I made it to 1000 posts, woot! I wonder when the next milestone will be? It will probably take me another 2 years to reach 2000.

    Idiots

My sister works at a McDonalds, and I believe she quite enjoys it. She works with a good group of people, and she has a fun time. She especially enjoys the fact that they have healthier options now, like wraps and salads and yogurt. As for myself, I don't go to McDonalds very much, I can't afford to eat fast food that often. I cook for myself and my daughter at home, sometimes my experiments work out and sometimes they don't. I think I've gotten quite good at it though, my boyfriend compliments me quite a bit on my cooking.
  16. I've been listening to a band called Augustana, and also re-listening to 3 Doors Down and Econoline Crush. Oh and also listened to a whole bunch of Sarah McLachlan songs too. I like all kinds of music: rock, alternative, pop, little bit of country.
  17. Wouldn't it have more to do with cookies being stored for the site? Or maybe your browser is loading a stored version of the page? Maybe you should clear your recent history.
  18. If anyone's ever in Toronto, Canada, feel free to message me and we can meet up! Maybe we can go to a bar and have a couple of drinks....if you're +19 that is. I live in a big city but I'm the only one I know who plays Spiderweb games (except for my brother). It's too bad I couldn't make it out to Tyran's meetup in January. I've only talked to people from here on AIM or MSN.
  19. Very nice pictures, congratulations on your wedding!

The saga that starts with Rowan and then continues with her children and then their children? That would be interesting. Just realized I'm missing Heretics of Dune, but I'm still going to read the books before that. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas! In fact I might as well get all the rest of the books while I'm at it.....maybe I'll like them, maybe I won't, we'll see.
  21. How about Blades of Nethergate? That is also a game that doesn't have a Blades title.

For that reason, I am not including in the Dune books I am going to be reading.
  23. Finally finished reading the Malloreon pentalogy (in honor of David Edding's death a couple of months ago). Very good, but decided not to dive into "Polgara the Sorceress" and "Belgarath the Sorcerer" quite yet. Have decided to re-read the Dune book (which I read more than 10 years ago) and finally read the other 3 books written by Frank Herbert (disregarding "Chapterhouse Dune" for now, as I read that opened up more plot points that he was not able to complete before he died).

    Getting it wrong

Makes perfect sense to me too. People tend to learn from their mistakes, whether they're in personal situations or learning in school. Plus making a mistake on something gives you more motivation to do it right the second time.
