LOL, that's awesome. I want Avernum cigars....oh, but they're probably made out of something gross like mushrooms or moss.

Awww, that's so cute! I said it to you on Facebook, but congratulations again! p.s. The links to the pictures in your first post don't seem to work anymore....I got a Not Found error when I clicked on them.

Welcome back, you were before my time as well.

A6 -This game is many times as hard as it should be.

Av3: how to get all NPC's by day 8
Toby-Linn replied to EvilEye's topic in Avernum Trilogy (2000-2002 original versions)
Wow, great guide! I've never used any of the NPC's before, as I get too attached to my characters... lol. But the next time I play A3 I will definitely try it out, it looks fun! -
I think that Work Experience on a resume counts for more than the degree/diploma would.

Bottled water always tastes somewhat funny to me, too oxidated/filtered or something, I think. Give me plain old tap water anyday, it's a whole lot cheaper too!

I like the new look. The dragon on the header is awesome, and I love the new menu graphics on the sidebar. Way to go!

That's fine, I just wanted to see if the link would work, I wasn't planning on staying and chatting. It was late and I had to go to bed so I could get up early for work.

I have the chatzilla client on Firefox, but how do I bookmark the room? Do I just bookmark it as a normal link? Or can I save it in the chatzilla client somehow?

Av1: Special items problem
Toby-Linn replied to Vodalian's topic in Avernum Trilogy (2000-2002 original versions)
When you click the Info button on a character's portrait, there's a link to view "Special Items", check there for your missing items. Some items are not able to be stored in your inventory for use or resale, but instead go into that area to use at special encounters later on. -
LOL, I never watched the show, but it seems funny. That's a hilarious idea, kitten mittens.

Ooooh, awesome screenshots Will! I love the waterfall. I could help you test it when you release it, but I can't help out with scripting, I've never done that part of BoA.

I'll help out, if you don't get enough volunteers. I have a Windows Vista computer, and my email is on my profile. I'll have to use the high level party maker to make a group first though. I had troubles with that last time, so wish me luck! -
I make my own icons, and put them on my photobucket album. I usally just take a picture I like, and resize it with my paint.net program (which is a free alternative to photoshop, but only for Windows). Then I just save it and upload it, and then link to it directly. Actually, I should change the Stephen King theme I have going on right now....maybe to a television series I like or something. I've had this icon for awhile. When Watchmen came out I was using a whole bunch of watchmen icons for awhile, with a quote in my signature.

I bought all the Geneforge games, and am currently muddling my way through Geneforge 1 right now. Yeah, it is a little tough to get used too....I miss having the inventory space of four characters, lol. But lots of the spells are the same and I love the map! It's so awesome to be able to jump from zone to zone (once the area's cleared of monsters that is ) I wish Avernum had that concept, instead of making my adventurers walk so much. The only other Geneforge game I've really played is G5, where I got through the entire demo section, and I absolutely loved it. However, I feel like I should play the games in order or else I won't get all the references. I've also dabbled in G2 and G3 but I don't think I even got through the demo sections there. I didn't play the Avernum games in order, and I've always felt like I'm missing something. Someday I want to go back and play them all in order, I don't know when I'll have time for that though.

Oh my god, that's an awesome article....I would love to see an opening intro movie that told that story. I feel like playing Avernum now....

How much time do you spend playing Spiderweb Software games?
Toby-Linn replied to The Knight Who Said Ni's topic in General
I don't play Spiderweb games very often, unless a new one gets released. Occasionally I play BoA or other spiderweb games that I've already finished, when I get a craving. -
I think Avernum 0 should start with the First Expedition, cause I've always found them very intriguing....especially all the little clues and stories that you find about them through the series. It will probably focus on Erika/Rone/Solberg though, but that's pretty interesting too so either way I'll be happy. I can wait a little bit for it though, I want to see a new game first.

awesome, thanks! I feel much better now.

Awww, I'm not on any of the three lists.
