  1. Where's that dumb wizard? He isn't in Fiery Region and can't remember if I battled against him in Ziggurat (besides that impostor).

  3. that barrier is undispable (it was discussed somewhere) but it isn't loss since nothing there (oversight on JV's part like that body in batcave in prev. game).
  4. I have quest to get papers but no papers and checking G's library gives only special encounter (about info trading between G and empire) but no papers and going thru all discussion options with P-B won't change anything so either I have returned papers but quest has stayed or I went to Haledon before wiping floor with G's and empires soldiers and returned crystal soul and then went to mop the floor with G's and empires soldiers. On quest-list I have Vahnatai Castle-quest just before Destroying Garzahd.

I don't have V. papers in special items so either I have filled quest and game has bugged or went to Haledon bef. clearing Vah. bandits and didn't get papers afterwards. 2 specials which start with Vahnatai, map and lore. Visited Mancuso recently but merchant didn't have any discussion related to papers nor any1 else had.
  6. I have recovered all 3 Crystal Souls but still I have Vahnatai Castle-quest on my list, combed thru Gaddiki's stuffs incl. green boxes and small room in nw corner. Can't remember (year later) if I went to Haledon (no1 there anymore) 1st before cleared G's castle. Did I miss something?

  9. I see that special cloaks, swords, bows, etc would go waste on common soldier and for example Flaming sword would be bit useless against some threats normal soldier confronts while normal sword is good against all enemies Avernite soldiers fight (Nephs, Sliths, Goblins. Spiders, Slimes, etc) and more bigger threats like Drakes, Lichs, etc are left for adventurers (us) to deal.
  10. I have combed whole dome thru searching switches (with u) and Kordaddis but no luck, 1 big demon was in pillar room but that wasn't Kordaddis and it didn't drop Flaming sword.
  11. So Lava Dome should have hidden switch in NW Hordling Pit but I can't find it (I've searched whole building with help of u and no luck) so where is it?

My party has twice become invinsible: 1st time in Nephil's lair after reading that book east from dining hall (had already cleaned whole place) and entering into that dining hall and leaving hall made party visible. Leaving dungeon and re-entering solved that. 2nd time was after 1st usage of ToM portal (came back from Pyrn-quest) and noticed it in the garden. Again leaving and entering solved invinsibility-problem. Sometimes when fighting against Giants I don't hear sound when one of them clubs member of party (not even hit missed sound). No idea what causes that.
  13. Got it done after I got quest to Locate Empire portal even I already had Destroy portal from Mahdavi. No logic.
  14. How do I get rid off Pyrn's portal lessons-quest? I have been in Pyrn's chambers and also read Pyrn's red book and reported both to Mahdavi and got new quest to find Scepter but still that quest stays in list.

  16. Since there are many enemies which have fireattack (walking flamethrowers) would all Sliths be better survival wise?
  17. pretty much useless to get unless plays on harder difficult. by Matt P: Divinely touched: Gives small bonuses with everything- it acts kind of like it's a lesser version of all the above abilities. It also gives the lay on hands, natural curing, and summon shade special abilities. Not so hot, because of the significant experience penalty. It's an excellent starting ability, however, especially on harder difficulty levels.
  18. yea I got 1 point in swordmage so my casters could use shield. many things were better during old times (like training cave/arcane lore 1 point at the time until could read spell book or get what's in cache).
  19. i'm gonna say yes as, prolly Randomizer or some other weirdo (;P). i'm playing acs and buffs (haste, protection and blessing) tend to last max 3 rounds except 1 char who keeps those 4 rounds (haste mostly).
  20. we don't get much Vahnatai-stuff before reaching end of river, 1 fine waveblade and few normal waveblades, few fine Razordisks and alot normal Razors, plenty of Vahnatai-cloaks (party should have better cloaks equipped).
  21. Also respawns in dungeons etc seem to be more frequent even after completing quest (and reporting it in Fort Draco or Formello). After going back to search secondary quest items (like lost banner) there's 1 or more respawns.
  22. old games fighters could get resistance but on remakes it requires spending points on not that needed skills (unless wants hybrid party aka all are melee casters) and casters could use nicish shields w/o being unable to cast spells.
  23. priests have some good battle spells although it takes awhile until gets access to those.
  24. Is it just me or is starting area more filled with random encounters than before? It feels like everytime I leave Fort or Formello to travel to some place there's 1 or more random encounters (either bandits, slimes, goblins (with 1 nephil) or nephils (once had slith accompanying group of nephils).
  25. unless you are willing spend fortunes on crystals and potions then getting casters is needed. many crystals like that stoneshatter are rarish so not many sell those and not that many crystals on sale so player needs to careful when using crystals.
