  1. So far I found when I wondered around blades (2 times), bazilisks and flame and those efreetis and that other teleport.
  2. Like I said I have no archer in my group. All experience is needed since Empires Patrols seems to be all dead (haven't seen any forawhile if that Patrol near those caves which leads to Empire Portal ain't counted). My Mage/Priests have Rebel Spirit 3 and only some lvl 3 spells are missing cause those I get in the end. I don't say anything about Garzahd cause I have only seen his projection but guide says that Limoncelli is tough but he wasn't that tough (could be also that I play on normal difficulty (causes enough blood pressure rising)).
  3. From Schrodinger's walkthrough: CAVE 3 First go east through the secret passage and use move mountains, and hit the rune. Then go east, and get teleported to the beginning, and head east again. Go west and you'll be teleported to a new area, go east and hit the second rune. Here's question: When I hit 1st rune there comes that msg saying you hear etc but if I go east (like S says) nothing else happens and if I go west I get teleported back to beg. like S says but where's that 2nd rune since there are only 2 routes to east and only rune I see is that which is behind that cracked wall. There is other teleportation place but that requires going in door and heading south. Portcullis in west at beg. ain't open either. What is right way?
  4. I will go back there after I have finished Empire Portal. Just need to buy bunch of unshackling crystals, energy elixir (already have bunch of them) and hastes etc. I have lotsa of bolts of life+light but no Archer-skills.
  5. Has anybody killed all those Demons etc there? I just grabbed Demonslayer and started running for the sake of my life.
  6. Fighters Quarters NW corner has lever which indeed opens that door but you can't get pass those giants w/o fight (you need to kill only 2-3 giants instead of 7).
  7. From Zeviz1 guide: That lever there (NE room) doesn't appear to do anything (I wrote NW, sorry). It isn't prison portculli cause that is open when party goes there and that lever doesn't close it. No unexplored areas so like zeviz says it doesn't open/close anything (in Elderan's tower).
  8. I won't get robe of magi from Sixus and Bevan gives me only 30 exp and 4 rep not 75 exp, 4 rep and 600c. Guide says I get better msg yes. Not much to do cause even resetting hostile towns won't help and so not gonna start from beginning.
  9. I searched whole place before going to meet hydras and killed those Sixus peoples. Not even resetting hostile towns help now so does it matters that he gets killed?
  10. I am on Sixus's 2nd cave and when I enter his room he burns his papers with magical fire and then makes suicide and comes looong msg saying that mission accomplished but you hope it would have ended better. Guide says that I talk to him and tell that Bevan sent me and Sixus thanks me and tells where's his treasure. What I have done wrong or missed?
  11. Does anybody have even slightest clue what portculli that lever in 3rd floor's NW corner opens/closes?
  12. Catweasle: Yep 3 priest is nice against undeads but only undeads that fighters just don't hack to pieces are those which drain and Vampires and Demons (not actually undeads but very close) and big litchs so 2 is quite enough.
  13. Tyranicus: Yep that hut where you get some wand (no clue what cause I have got it only once and boat was just too far to reach it before battle begun). I use character editor to identify items (unidentified item and nearest sage is few hundred miles away) and give me gold to buy spells (I buy all spells I can) and buy special skills like parry etc and heal+energize party when resting ain't possible. They (Avernum's mages) have tried making Guardians and Black Shades (or just Shades) visible quite a long time already and no results so far (AV3.
  14. I use alweays 4 cause I like to keep fighters as fighters and spellcasters as spellcasters and in AV1 and 3 I used default party and AV2 I made custom (and small mistake).
  15. NorthEast to Harston where to get Black Drake Fangs (get 2 and 3 needed). Dungeon would be fine since then sides would be closer but not outside when Drakes are splitted to all over battlefield (they see me but I don't see them like I wrote). Fireblast helps to get those near dead but near dead is still alive and can cast spell. Other impossible battle is that battle against Guardians and Black Shades (if I remember right it is around 13+ vs 4) in same area. If somebody has beated those w/o using char. editor I salute you since 2 fighters against 13+ invinsible (and tough to kill) spellcasters is far from fair fight. All Avernums I have played (started on AV3 and after that I played AV1 through) has some big battles which are far from easy on normal difficult and must be on hard difficult real blood pressure raiser. Divine-spells help for sure but my spellcasters get those in use quite late cause they are mage/priest-mixture (before getting mass healing having more than 1 healer is good and afterwards too).

I like that there are battles lotsa but throwing level 30 (avg.) characters against 7 drakes (yes I know battles are slightly random generated) is way too much, 4 drakes is possible kill w/o magicians dying, 5 maybe (all depends what drakes decide cast) but beyond that it is near impossible to kill all drakes w/o dying (partially cause drakes seems to see whole battle-arena (my magicians have been about 24 steps from drakes and still drakes can fireblast them)). I doubt that even level 40 characters can survive from battle against 7 drakes (4 fighters maybe but not 2 fighters w/o magicians who have been killed) if hasn't made character(s) which can't be harm magically or physically. That is my opinion and I'm quite sure some of you say that more enemies is merrier.
  17. Yep in hidden room it was but it was "visible" on automap thx to Far Sight.
  18. Where is NW lever? I have found other 3 levers but NW is still lost.
  19. Found it (gave to magician Far Sight 3 (just temporarily)), it is south from that place where you see Giants and 2nd landing place north after Peninsula sign. I spent nice amount of time clicking all west walls like guide says next to Draco and it is near abandoned mine like guide(s) says BUT east wall not west wall.
  20. Can you tell me exact locations (aka nearest town etc) of Empire Caches? I can't find 4th/5th cache. Caches I have for sure destroyed are: West from Dranlon, near Empire Fort. I reported to Scimitars and got 200c so I think only 5th is left.
  21. Yep wrong order but in those scrolls button looks like wheel and vice versa. Thx again.
  22. Some odd reason I can use only 3 options until I get msg saying you hear .......... not 5 like I should.
  23. Now I got stucked to CC. I have searched whole place and picked all valuable and killed all what moved and picked those 2 scrolls but I can't understand what reads on those scrolls or what reads on that sign on platform. I have also pulled/pushed/turn 3 times button/lever/pedal and got same msgs each time about metal moving against stone and talked to Crystal Souls but cause I don't have pass (I know pass from walkthrough but that doesn't help me) I can't wake up Vahnatai. What I have missed or did wrong (I think nothing)?
  24. Yeah those working bars were in Hydra-town BUT that town is southernwest corner not northernwestern corner. I don't remember Hydra's in Exile 2 so that's why I was lost and I should have just explore bit more.
  25. I got stucked to that Fort cause neither of those 2 hexagonal rod doesn't fit to wheel of portcullis. Have I missed 3rd (searched whole area) or what should I do? When I played Exile 2 long time ago I don't think that I had probs.
