Well-Actually War Trall Actaeon
Birds, reptiles, and dinosaurs can be grouped in the same clade. Close enough. (And of course, congrats Dikiyoba. I appreciate your decision to celebrate a less common count.)

On an at least semi-related note, it appears that a woodpecker or two have recently taken up residence in my neighborhood. I haven't seen any yet, but I can hear the unmistakable sound of pecking shortly after sunrise. Originally Posted By: Aʀᴀɴ Congratulations! (pic) This duck, however, is unimpressed. Well-Actually War Trall Actaeon
Some cladists that would disagree. There is insufficient consensus to contradict you, though. Edit: Gonna jump on the band wagon here: Red winged blackbirds. Second only to chickadees in my heart.

Easygoing Eyebeast Dintiradan
I've always been curious: why not just keep the taxonomy the way it was? I mean, physicists have had to put up with conventional current. Personally, I think it's a grand conspiracy by textbook manufacturers, trying to make their older textbooks obsolete. Most biologists nowadays want taxonomy to accurately reflect our best guess at the evolutionary relationships between different species.
