Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
There are a series of levers. Find the first one Click to reveal.. behind a pillar near the eyebeasts , and it will open up the area with the second. Continue until the final lever reveals the canister. And you are correct, those areas were not built into the game.
Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
I've been wondering. Does the ornk canister count towards your maximum canister usage (I mean, when it starts to alter your dialogue)? I'm guessing that it does, but I want to be certain. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Canisters don't cause as many problems as in the earlier games. I think you are past the last canister check until the final screens.
Articulate Vlish Lord_Shaper
Besides, even in the ending it dosen't matter much - canister junkies still get good endings, even if heling alwan (I know, I was one). I think taygen and his disease cause problems because they hurt creations, but I'm not sure.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Year old topic necromancy. Lord shaper, before you post, look at the top right corner of each post and it will tell you when it was posted. If it is anything over a month you shouldn't post there. Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
Canisters matter most in g3, not so much in anything after.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
But the only way you can create the best of creations like drakons or eye-beasts in canisters. No one teaches you Create Drakon/Ur-Drakon, or Create Gazer/eyebeast.
Garrulous Glaahk Pyrrhus
Why did necromancy happen? I suppose to make my reply on this useful I will say something entirely obvious about canisters such as: Canisters give you skills, or canisters are blue. Instead of those I will say that there is not such a thing as a bad canister. wisdom from a canister junkee right there

I haven't played G1 in a very long time, so I can't say exactly where.

Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Does it give you a skill or just plain damage?
Garrulous Glaahk Pyrrhus
I never bought G1, so I didn't know about that one. Thanks for educating me. so to rephrase my previous post There is no such thing as a bad canister except for that one in G1
Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
In G3 the canister meant for Lankan acid's you if you try to use it.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Of course that is only because it was meant for someone who wasn't already a shaper
Garrulous Glaahk Pyrrhus
It is good for the emo shaper
Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
why don't you use it then? *carefully hands canister to Pyrrhus* hehe...
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
For one thing MM, some one may find that offencive being called emo. Two this is not a chatroom. Lets avoid something like an RP. Go to aim or private message. If you modded yourself a 3 in shaping ornk, then would you get an ooze beast? Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
I think so.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Well in the scrips it should say somewhere, Shape oozebeast. So if not I don't think there is one. Besides, how would you select it in geneforge 4-5. Its not like there is a + button on the O.K.
Hatchling Cockatrice Archaeolagent
That's not how the scripts work.
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
Since Jeff only designed one level of "Shape Ornk" into the game, there is no level three bonus. There is no way to create an oozebeast other than replacing an already shape-able creation with the oozebeast.
Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
why not add an oozebeast instead?
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Are you asking why you can't just add another creation to the scripts that you can create? As far as my understanding goes, the engine (which you can't edit) controls which creations you can make. You can't add another one into there; you have to substitute.
Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
then substitute a clawbug with it.

Understated Ur-Drakon Sudanna
I think the player-shaped creations have separate entries, actually. Might be wrong.

Hatchling Cockatrice Archaeolagent
There are multiple entries for many creation types, but player-shaped creations and most NPC creations use the same entry.
