I was wondering how to get the last 3 medals, iv'e beat all 3 major goals of avernum, but those last 3 medals are irking me, since it was my first playthrough i went on casual, did i have to play on a higher difficulty?

So i like to pick up every scrap of junk and sell it, even items with only 20 value, im ocd so if i leave something i can get sitting around it kinda irks me. But iv'e been having difficulties robbing people of their pants and paltry change because once a door is opened it can't be shut behind you. So all my acts of indefinite borrowing are seen which results in the town spazzing out. I was wondering if doors can be closed with some kinda hotkey or if my characters seriously have so much brain damage they can't shut a door once they've opened it.

I've been trying to download and install avadon but my norton antivirus program after i download the file, says its unsafe and wipes it out or something, disabling me from installing it, help?

i know the ornk canister is in the lost dera vault, but i dont know how to get the door open. advice? p.s. lethia province and the nodye coast are untravalable correct?

sorry if its not spelled correctly, but there is a door behind Khyrrk in G4 inside the crypt hes hiding in that i cannot get open.

in alot of the geneforge games u see 3rd tier creations--i.e battle gammas--is there a way to make them in any of the games? ive always wanted to but i dont think its possible, tho i did get pretty close in G2(1 more level away).

Im going through an overhaul of all the Avernum/Geneforge games currently in my possession while i wait for Avadon. In my quest to do everything i hadn't done before in my earlier play-thrus of G1, i have come to the same annoying roadblock, is there ANY way to get into the temple in the spirit city? I've tried freeing the chained spirit, not robbing native graves, not taking gems out of pylons etc... no luck, i still get poisoned. any tips?

i played the demo of Geneforge 5 and Avernum 6 and even at max graphics they both ran VERY smoothly, i registered them and they still worked fine, at first. i reopened G5 one day and the lag was intense, i could barely move the mouse, so i turned down all graphics, lowered my comps resolution, even closed my minimap and the game was tolerable at that point. it's been like this ever since except it occasionally goes back to being fast, but it always reverts to extreme slowness. A6 was the same, fast at first, then constantly slow. ive tried reinstalling the game and everything. i use windows vista with a HP pavilion dv6 laptop if it helps.

i delayed registering any avernum/geneforge games because of the fact that i was going to be recieving a new laptop. i got the new laptop and downloaded a few games and installed, but when it came to avernum 4 i had probs. i downloaded it, but when i tried to install it said something about "inserting disk #2". no idea what to do here, seeing as i never inserted a disk 1. explanation would be appreciated.

my opinion is to join the shapers. there are more shaper controlled areas than rebel areas and they offer u great training. the only reason i got my Rotdhizon was because of Khyrk's training and a skill canister. and he says in response to yor question as to why he dosen't join the rebels if he dosen't agree with shaper ways: "Join The rebels? Those murderers? Those butchers?"
