Garrulous Glaahk The Knight Who Said Ni
I will refrain from beginning a debate about Communism. All I will say is that behind powerful, well written anthems and propaganda that makes you feel as though you have been mistreated all these years, is betrayal by the one fact that makes us all human. Our inevitable lust for power and money. Ooops. looks like I just started something.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
Nobody was suggesting that there was or wasn't anything wrong with the Communist Manifesto itself. Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
Just looking, I can't find a single site that actually hosts the full text version. Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
You can't be bothered to copy and paste 18 times in order to bring the boards down? Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
It's most obvious in base 2, of course. 100% percent of everything starts with a 1. —Alorael, who also noticed that Benford's Law ceases to work well when sufficiently large bases are applied. Graham's number, for example, only very weakly exhibits Benfordism.

Benford's law is a statement about the distribution of leading digits of logarithmically distributed data. The words '1', '2', ..., '9' might very well be distributed logarithmically across google search results, but that's not really an example of Benford's law. Garrulous Glaahk llloyd
actually, no because we start with one, not zero, people never say the zero'th house on the left, 1st is the word, no 1 is tasted much more often, and is also much more lonely than zero. i also enjoy analogies with Santa and god, i beleive in santa but not god, for i do not want to beleive in god, but do santa. Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
It's recently been divinely revealed to me that Santa Claus is real. He gives presents to everyone on Christmas, but the Flying Spaghetti Monster hides his existence by taking away or relocating some of the presents (so it looks like not everyone gets them) and planting false memories in people's heads (and relocating their money) so that the parents/spouses/whoever think they bought all the presents, when really some or all of them are from Santa Claus. You could techinally say the zero'th house on the left but the result would be whatever you are currenty looking at. We do start at zero. Until there is a quantity we must stick with zero. For instance when you buy a piggy bank it has zero money in it. Than when you put a dollar in it, it has 1 dollar. We did start at zero.
