  1. It may not be worth it at this point of the game, but eventually it probably will. Battle speed is how many action points you get per round. Eventually, once you get two items that boost AP, they will be extremely useful. Wearing two of them will garentee a character two actions per round, every round, unless slowed, stunned, etc. However, you wont get much out of one AP booster. You can hang on to that leather until you get another, but it may not be for a while. Also, there are better AP boosting gear than the leather, but it your choice if you want to keep it or not. There is also someone who can craft mercuric leathers if you bring him enough fine leather.
  2. Also, about those invulnerability potions: Yes, they are rare, and yes, they are valuable. And because of this, players tend to use them very sparingly, and almost never sell them. THe thing is, in the entire game, there only a couple fights players seem to deem worthy of using the invulnerability potions or elixirs on. This means that by endgame, many players have a massive stock of the potions that they havent used. In my playthrough, i used the potions on only two battles, and because I had so many, my entire party had enough to last the entire long battle, and still have plenty left over. You can always come back later to finish the quest, as quite a few people have said, but you can just use another potion, since it wont really set you back in the long run.
  3. If that's what you want, then go with Ghaldring. Of course, some people have some complaints about serving under the drakons, but think that the ending for that faction is my favorite of all of them.
  4. Really? ......Then my memory is really broken right now.
  5. The essence pools are green, while the healing pools are blue. They work in the exact same way.
  6. Still, that experience is minor and overall doesn't matter too much. You will be using those living tools anyways, on the more difficult locks, so you do actually still get the experience.
  7. Unlock works wonders for saving living tools, but the sad thing is that most people seem to just forget that it's there.
  8. I figured that was the case, but I was still interested in if it could work out. I must have missed Slarty saying anything about it though, since I don't remember anything about that.
  9. WHile everyone is talking about traits, here's a quick question: I know that the best thing to do is load up on divinely touched and then EW/NM/PS for your characters, has anyone tried seeing if having, say, a human with the worst disadvantages would do well, since they would have the best experience gain? If I had the choice, I would still go with the good traits, but I am interested in seeing if this could be comparable to going with the good traits.
  10. Once you go through the tunnel, you will talk to someone about the meat. If you pester them a lot, they will give in and start sending meat to gnass. However, there is another option...
  11. Quote: The shaman has dedicated her life to nature, and nature, in return, has rewarded her with great power. She can use her connection to the wilds to heal and bless her allies. And, when angered, she can call wind, lightning, and fire to devastate those who challenge her. A shaman is rarely alone. She can call wolves or, eventually, drakes to serve and protect her. Also, she has the unique ability to heal wounded allies. THe last sentence that tells us that the shaman can heal allies is redundant as it was said earlier in the description. But really, I am looking forward to when this game comes out, and will likely buy it as soon as I can.
  12. I've been wondering. Does the ornk canister count towards your maximum canister usage (I mean, when it starts to alter your dialogue)? I'm guessing that it does, but I want to be certain.
  13. A person on my moms side of the family and my dads side of the family (different people) both came over here on the Mayflower. I know that my family has come from several european countries, but all that I know about them immigrating here is that tibit about some of my ancestors coming on the mayflower.
  14. They are located in a small blue box at the end of a tunnel that was gaurded by wolves.
  15. When I have said this, I'm not sure that people have been getting it. When I say that the venamous blade and the oozing blade do the same thing, I mean that they do the exact same thing. If you look at their descriptions, they both have the ability called oozing blade. If you attack an enemy with them, they will both attack the enemy with acid. THe Venamous blade is supposed to do poison damage, and poison the enemy, but it doesn't. Both swords attack with acid damage and apply acid on the target.
  16. On your main fighter, give the radiant soulblade (obtained as the dragons third reward. close to the end, but still fun to use) and frozen/oozing blade. Use the frozen blade against bosses, and use the oozing blade against everything else. THough, the oozing blade does work well on bosses, too. Overall, the oozing blade is my favorite sword that I get to use the most. For secondary fighter(s), you can use whatever swords you want, really. I never really liked the flaming sword, since it seems that just about everything has a good amount of fire resistance. The venamous blade is pretty good, since it, (due to a bug, I dunno) like the oozing blade, does acid damage and puts acid on foes. (or at least it did last time I checked.) For casters, don't look at damage to decide what to equip. If a caster is up front doing damage, then they usually aren't very effective casters. Give them weapons that give stats, like the discipline blade, or are just little helpful add ons to what your warriors did, like the stunning blade. For bows, I can't help too much since I rarely used them. I gave the most powerful ones to my casters since they did use them a little more frequently, and the ones I gave to my warriors were to augument their stats.
  17. Um.....Ok..... But I wasn't talking about using cheats, and I don't know how to respond to the latter part of your post as it is barely legible.
  18. Something else you should do: invest in strength, especially for your fighter. For fighters, it's a must, and for casters/archers, it's helpful. You fighters hit for more damage, and everyone can wear better gear.
  19. Some people, though, would rather exploit a loophole than use such an obvious cheat. Besides, some people (Like me) have problems with getting the editor to spawn items.

If you were forced to change your PDN to something completely unrelated to its current form and your original username, what would it be? Espionage 10. If you could transform at will into any living animal, what animal would it be? A falcon. 11. It's ninja sliths versus pirate nephilim. Who should win? Nijas vs. Pirates? No contest. The sliths win.
  21. The necromancer's key opens his house, which is in a mine near where you killed him. You will know when you get to the right mine.
  22. I thought about doing one at 1000 or somewhere around one, but then I posted a bit more and the moment passed.
  23. I think this was before we figured out that those potions would fix it.
  24. I have a new desktop picture now. I used it a while back, but then changed it and forgot about it. Now that I found it, I'm using it again. http://i33.tinypic.com/idyxw4.jpg
  25. Oh....THAT one. I don't know why I didn't remember it before. Guess it has just been too long.
