  1. Beware: If you enter this place, you WILL die many times.
  2. If you walked through walls, then the mines would see you through the walls too. You wouldn't even get close to the building.
  3. You're not. It just takes a lot of practice.
  4. Actually, he does mean the wastes. Taygen controls the dera reaches, not the wastes. The wastes are where Ghaldring is.
  5. I'm not sure which I would call my favorite, but I do like most of them. I have noticed that in games (I always notice these on replay) that there are certain areas that just seem slow and a bit boring to go through, and it is more likely for me to stop a playthrough because of this area. In A5 it was the drake pillars. In Fallout 2 it's the area from beggining of the game to the end of vault city. In G5, it's the Mera-Tev. I have no idea why.
  6. Thanks a lot! It works perfectly.
  7. Just that gaurdian, but not anyone in the purity workshop.
  8. I don't know where to get it, so I can't try. I did try looking for it, but still came up with nothing.
  9. Lets see here... I have a macpro Dual G4(1.4Ghz), its mac osx 10.4.11, I got the exile 2 file from spiderweb software (here), and am using stuffit expander 7.0.3. And this worked with opening the other exile games.
  10. I can play the first and the third exiles, seemingly without an issue. It's just that I can't even unstuff the file that I download from the spiderweb website. Either it's my computer, or something is wrong with the file. If I can't use the exiles, I MIGHT try the early Avernums (I have tried their demos, so I know they work), but most of all what I enjoy about exile is it large range of awsome spells, and having six characters does make things a bit easier. I have no idea why my computer isn't able to unstuff the Exile 2 file, since it was able to do it with the other exiles.
  11. Most macs can't? I just downloaded the demo, switched to 256 colors, and I am playing the first one right now. EDIT: Gah! I have been looking around a lot more, and I simply can't find any place that would allow me to download it. I did find one site, actually, but it just gave me the same file that I already have that my computer can't unstuff.
  12. I tried looking a little for other sites that would let me download it, but the only one I found was offering it for windows, not mac. Also, I do not have any of the CDs right now, but if I am going to buy the exile trilogy, it would be on CD.
  13. I have recently been playing BoE a lot, and have been really enjoying it. So then I thought, if I like BoE this much, it would be a good idea to take a look at the actual games, and maybe buy them. So I downloaded the demos for the exile trilogy, but there is a problem. The first and the third unstuff and I am able to play them, but when I try to unstuff the second, I get a message that says that an error has occured, and that the archive may contain damaged content, and below that it says error#17538. I have tryied redownloading Exile 2 multiple times, but the same thing happens. I'm at a loss. Could someone help? (I'm using a mac)
  14. When you go into the make creation screen, don't click on any creation. Just hit okay/press enter. There isn't any practical use for the ornk, though.
  15. I have used inv. potions/elixers in exactly two fights. I used a few of them while fighting Gladwell, and a few more when fighting the dragon. When I fought the dragon, I had over 20 inv. potions (not counting elixers) stored up.
  16. Being that I don't think that they exist, I don't think that I will ever need to trap or banish them.
  17. Someone else in the Dera reaches takes the puresteel and makes those items. If you kill that guy, I heard that he drops a puresteel blade, so take that into account when making your purersteel items.
  18. Found it! Took a few minutes of searching. Originally Posted By: Eldibs I hate to revive a dead/dying topic, but anyways: A fix... How you use this information is up to you. When you enter the sdf code, don't forget to put spaces between the numbers.
  19. The sliding doors open if you make the area hostile, and the puresteel is in a box behind a locked door somewhere on one of the buildings.
  20. Then that would be overpowered, and no one would ever have a need to make any of the other creations. But you are right, that would be pretty cool.
  21. Yah, but in the new run though that I am slowly working on, I have two characters that both have only two points each in priest, and thats all the magic they have. Whenever I create a new character for something (which is quite often), and one of my two other characters are running a little low on healing potions (some fights can be really tough for these guys), I give them the free healing potion before I delete the character. It really helps.
  22. There is one canister for rotrogroth. I can't remember the name of the place, but it is in the storm plains, and it is gaurded b a gazer. Maybe another member can help with the name. Are you talking about the corrupted/burning creations? The ones that constantly lose health? You're only really supposed to make them before tough fights, since the only way to keep them alive is with constant healing or regeneration aura. Because of this, they are stronger than usual for a creation of their level. One of the best creations in the entire game is one of these (shock trall), but even then, you do better to have some other leveled up creations since it is a hassle to keep them alive.
  23. If you have less than four people, then you can create and delete a new person whenever you want to. I find this useful for those nature caches and doors I normally can't get, since I can just make a new character, have it be custom, and then dump everything in the required skill. But with the potions, every time you create a new character, they come equipped with one leather armor and one healing potion. Creating and deleting many characters can get you as many healing potions and leather armors as you want. (You could also get infinite money from this, but that would take too long and be boring.)
  24. You can get one in the foundry repository, but that's it. If you want more, you will have to craft them with the above recipe.
  25. True, but there are far more of every kind (except knowledge brews/elixers) then I ever require. In A6, I save all of my ingredients to make the knowledge brews, and I never even come close to running out of potions. Of course, if the party isn't built too well and relies heavily on some kind of potion, then eventualy they will have some problems. But for the most part, if I ever need to use any kind of potion, I likely have a ton of them stored away in my inventory. Also, if you have three or less people, you can get an infinite number of healing potions.
