This was a job board quest, so it should have cleared as soon as you clicked on her. The dialogue is just for flavor. It's not still on your quest list, is it? The reward was 1000 gold, so it might not have been obvious.

No, if he's playing Celts then he can't get the scroll. Did you go over to the iron gate in the last room, after killing the sprite? You should have gotten a message about how you couldn't figure out the locking mechanism. If you've done that, then a dialog box should pop up as soon as you get close to Dolojan, in which you tell her what happened and she gives you a new copy. The dialog with her changes just a little after that, but it doesn't matter.

Ah, okay, if I ever read that detail I'd forgotten it.

If you mean that your mages can take melee damage, this is true up to a point, but they will generally not be able to wear as much heavy armor, or use shields, at least not early in the game. Warriors are good for tanking. But an all-caster party is certainly playable. ETA: Also, because you don't get that many traits in AEFTP, you might not want to spend a bunch of them on Swordmage.Sounds interesting. But why do I need fighters when my mages can melee as well?
If you mean that your mages can be effective melee fighters, they can't really. To hit and do significant damage in melee, you have to pump Strength almost exclusively, whereas to be an effective mage, you have to raise Intelligence as high as possible. Try to do both and you will do them both badly. Unless maybe as a singleton, because you'll gain more stat increases as you level up.
-
Also gives mung demons a closer target for dumbfounding than your actual casters.
-
And the increasing costs of raising skills actually encouraged diversifying. Not saying that's necessarily better, just different.
-
Is this a warrior? Parry, if so.
-
Yeah, that's a good call on the greaves. Skip them until you find some magic ones; in general, skip any equipment that has a hit penalty except for chest armor and maybe a shield for your priest. Your tank's hit % will get much better as long as you keep raising Strength. Later in the game he can do a lot of damage, especially if you have him dual-wield.
It can be hard to figure out where to go and what to do for your level in AEFTP. If you're stuck, check out the second link in my signature for a handy guide, spoilers kept to a minimum.

I hope that I at least set myself on fire.

The merchants will sell them on to the next group of adventurers, who will die horribly in a dungeon, so that the next group can find the items on their mangled bodies. It's the circle of life, and also the whole basis of the Avernite economy.

Economic: -8.0

I don't remember my exact score from last time, but I don't think it's changed much.
Edit: Oh hey, I'm more libertarian than I was. Thanks for linkies, Aran!

Not just counter-intuitive, but actually contrary to what the in-game tool-tip will tell you! However, empirical testing has shown that while raising Turret Craft and Beast Focus will dramatically increase the power and durability of your turrets/pets, raising the individual skills will not.Although that seems a little counter-intuitive that raising it more wouldn't help.
Nature Mastery is also kind of useless IMO, but I admit I haven't really tested it. It's just that the shaman's magic damage is probably his least useful ability anyway, and a bonus to his blessings? Meh. But I could be wrong; maybe his damage output would actually become significant if you invested in it.
-
Those buffs apply to all friendly units in the vicinity. So yes, that's a very feasible strategy.
You should also know that there's no point in raising summon or turret skills above the minimum needed to unlock their related abilities. Once you've done that, you should focus on the middle column for the TM and the shaman.

uh... language, Aran? Kind of surprised that got past the auto-censor.

In A:CS it's object number 217 in a2objsmisc.txt (218 also, but you only need to change the first one).
I can't be bothered hunting for the various graphic effects, but if you add this line to the definition:
ob_graphic_coloradj = 64;
the colors will be inverted, resulting in a very obvious shiny button.
Honestly though, if 'u' was a thing in Avadon, I would never have bothered with the secret switch mod.

If you have found the evidence in Limoncelli's lair, the council at Olgai will tell you how to get into Pyrog's lair.

In zombie outbreaks, the government is typically useless, and people are left to fend for themselves after it collapses. "Government is useless" is a popular idea in some circles. But I'm not convinced that the popularity of the genre has anything to do with events during the Bush administration particularly. Vampires, werewolves, witches, psychics, gods and demons seem to be all the rage these days as well.

Right, it's ctrl-click on Windows.
To open your junk bag when not selling stuff, type 'i' or 'g' to open your inventory. Look above the area labelled "Your Pack" and you'll see a bar labelled "Open Junk Bag". Click that, and then you can select items to remove from the bag, or manually add items to it, if you like.
You can click "Close Junk Bag" when you're done, or just exit the inventory screen the usual way.
-
They are about 10 times as visible as the ones in Avadon 1, but the same as AEFTP. As Kreador says, the 'u' key makes finding them even easier. Also handy for locating corpses in corners.
-
Yup, just click on it and move it to your inventory.
It's amazing that you haven't accidentally sold it already, actually. Do you not click "Sell all in bag"?

No acknowledgement for Spiral Pit quest
in Avernum Trilogy (2011-2018 Remastered Versions)
Posted
No, the two are completely unrelated. IIRC, you pick up that quest from the board in Silvar. First to clear out some undead (ghasts?) just inside the entrance, then to purge the spiral.
