The only thing that might get messed up is the sequence of events at Angierach, which would be simple enough to test for.

 

Save before cheating.

 

Use cheat, make another save.

 

Return to Angierach. Do you still fall down the pit and commence battles? Yes, good, return to save 2 and come back later. No, maybe still good if you can skip that level and go straight to the Ten. No, that's somehow messed up? Go back to save 1 and turn down the difficulty.

What difficulty are you playing at? I don't remember having too much trouble there on Normal, and I was below level 33. I haven't tried it on higher difficulties yet.

 

If you don't want to turn down the difficulty, the "backtostart" cheat will take you back to Formello. There's a slight risk of messing up some flags, but I think it would probably be okay.

I can report that the barrier surrounding the body outside the door to Pyrn's tower actually requires level 4 DB (!), which is of course impossible to get without cheating. Not that you could have level 3 (or any level) by that point without cheating anyway.

 

More to the point, there's nothing on that body.

Check the crypt areas in the northern part of the spiral. Hit 'u' if necessary. If you've done the crystals, then the interior of the spiral should be a cakewalk for you.

You kill the things that attack you and take their stuff. That's it.

 

To get to the rest of the spiral, there's another secret switch somewhere else, if you haven't found it yet.

There has never been a teleporter in the Spiral Pit. There is only darkness and undead dwelling in the darkness.

Mother Clarisse says she cures Dread Curse for a mandrake root and 1000 coins… but the script only deducts a mandrake root and 500 coins.

In general, I find battles where the game gives you allies pretty interesting. I consider it an extra challenge to make sure that none of the friendly NPCs die while working with me.

But I hate the fact that I get no xp for killing something if an NPC hit it at any point.

Here, I found these AWESOME gauntlets, you should try them.

Eh, actually the Pyrrhic Gauntlets are pretty sweet. With the Serpentskin Helmet and Mica Band equipped, the bad effects are negligible.

Drake eggs, surprisingly, don't seem to be used for anything.

They are used for making delicious spicy omelettes.

In Amalia's shop in Ft. Duvno, there are 2 switches for the same secret door:

 

 

They both work.

Yeah, it's really a non-issue for casters.
