at e3 on mac i gave spellcasters bows and bit bow skills but they didn't hit at monsters so i gave them swords to use after mps are gone.

redmark should be busy a while securing his throne so unlikely that he will assault avernum in near future and its unlikely that empire could get enough forces to conquer avernum.

you can have prolly endless list of quests but i think i had most around 10-20 at later game.

if you killed giant's queen you pissed off highground. killing those cultists and their creatures wouldn't harm ecosystem since those monsters appeared to be everywhere at a5.

you should have got enough scuttler eyes if you have killed every adult scuttler you have encountered on top of land and under land at caves.

so its okay to make more monsters like those cultists did? fae wasn't necessary to kill, you could have let her go too and still same reward.

that could depend on os since when i played a3 at win98 savegame was at game's folder and when i oaded it on xp file was at game's folder.

A1-A3 stores save games under game-folder but can't remember if on subfolder or not.

As for Saffron I think Commander Bhapra (or something) opens that door or gives you key. For hellhounds no idea since there are hellhounds at many places on Avernum 4 and some are quest related places and some of quests questgiver comes with you.

Mordor 1 all who hit got experience and killer got most and same thing on some other games which I can't remember atm.

lol@gnaeus A3 had that all-seeing eye on very good use: group of soldiers attack against party basically middle of nowhere and after killing those finds out bit later that some town which has quest or something like that is hostile due that.

would require tons of quests to do and tons of monsters and boss monters to kill otherwise it would be mostly walking from 1 place to other if no portal near, possible if done in episodes that all areas are their own subgames but even still would require damn good plot to make us finish that.

Exodus Mayor doing something for Empire's soldiers? Especially after killing Lysstak. Foramon sells some nice stuff so killing him would be bad for later game (w/o using char editor give those stats to party).
