  1. We met Rentar at A2, battled against Rentar 1st time at A3 and killed Rentar most likely permanently at A4.
  2. Why Nibmle Fingers is bad? Rogue is good to have and NF is good trait for Rogue.

  5. Annotated Map says there could be way to read that book but creator of those maps has no idea what it could be.

  7. You mean where you stole Solberg's papers? 1 way is to send fighters to fight and spellcasters keep fighters alive until 2 Snowballs is left and fighters block Snowballs way to scs and focus mainly to 1 enemy.
  8. A4-5 ran quite smoothly at my P3-500Mhz comp under Win XP so.........
  9. not a spoil since it has been mentioned "few" times on boards.
  10. Yes you can kill Gladwell but it comes alot later in game (if played properly Anama Scrolls aren't needed to give to Gladwell (there's another "person" at near end of game who wants those too)).
  11. yea Moref ain't fastest quest to do so its better to do when has alot time to spend. I did Moref as last thing on Tranq except that "small" raiding near Tranq. to Anama road.
  12. staffs you get enough via rewards/found/etc so my opinion is to save that cash for training or something more important.

  15. Food is also good at later to get healed if wants to save spellpoints. Fuller at Drake Pillars buys Mined Crystals (only 40 needed) and so does some Vahnatai at Vahnatai's town. Chitrach Husks and Claws are wanted at Anama's Town (more than enough available at Anama Lands). Saleswoman at Muck wants few items. Some1 buys 20 Parchments. 1 of Solberg's worker wants 9 Sentinel Power Stones (more than enough is got from Tranquility). These Rare Items Eyestalks, Mandrake Tincture, Demon Bile are also good to keep although I didn't use Tinctures or Biles on anything. +other quest stuff.
  16. I didn't either see any flash on those stone statues but I sent my fighters so that each took 2 groups of those statues on fight and placed spellcasters close enough that they could heal etc fighters when needed. it took a while but eventually that shade appeared and died.
  17. If you steal Mel's egg you better kill her/it at same trip since if you play at darkside you need to free that prisoner too.
  18. A3 favorite due large size and A1 2nd fav due interesting plot.

  20. Priest-spells aren't exactly battle-spells so not bad idea get some mage-levels too for your priest and some priest-levels to your mage (having 2 healers is great). http://www-cgi.uni-regensburg.de/~mim09509/Avernum/Avernum1/Towns/shops.html that helps to find places to buy spells at cheapest.
  21. Garz didn't either cast much at A2 but still spellcasters were busy healing and hasting fighters, I have forgot if Garz summoned more monsters during battle.

Battle against Garzahd at A2 wasn't that wasy cause only 1 weapon could hurt him and spellcasters stayed out of battle just keeping 2 fighters alive etc and occasionally killing some monster who came too close.
  24. Mission against Emperor at A2 (I think) and 1st battle against Rentar at A3 weren't that easy battles, A4 it was easy if had those shards from those town invaders.
