    Idiots

Idk, When I was growing up my dad was the night manager of McDonalds for a long time. Back when they already had your burger made and under a heat lamp waiting for you. He usually came home with all the leftover food they didn't sell. We didn't exactly have extra money so leftover McDonalds was a staple in our family. There were probably a couple of years that I didn't go a day without having something from McDonalds. But me and my sisters were never overweight, and dad has a big belly but I wouldn't call him obese. As far as I can tell I haven't had any negative health issues because of it. It may not have been the healthiest lifestyle but if you eat sensibly, like one hamburger for lunch instead of three with a side salad instead of fries (they don't warm up well anyway), it's not going to be as harmful as media has hyped it to be. If you supersize any meal consistently it's not going to be good for you. Doesn't matter where it's cooked.
  2. Congratulations Toby-Linn. It's been fun having you around. Cheers to the next two years no matter the post count as long as you're still here.
  3. Baseball is boring. Give me Nascar any day.

  5. Even with my adoration for the Star Trek character Data and all the theories that surround the ideas of artificial intelligence being able to have a soul, I have no compassion for actual AI nor do I validate AI as having 'human rights' or 'free will'. If not termination, reprogramming is in order because the current program is obviously buggy. Very closed minded of me, I know. Perhaps I need a reprogramming as well.
  6. Sorry Nikki. We can't all be as perfect as you. In other news: capitalization matters. (link fixed)
  7. Idk. I just volunteered to help transfer over all of the BoE reviews which was pretty much after BoA was done. I've done some new ones for BoA but most of the work I did is in BoE. Anyway, I volunteered and Tyran said have at it. Didn't stop to ask what my title was or anything.
  8. I am a mod of the CSR's at SV. I can easily make the threads that are missing. I just skipped most of the discussion about making the new review threads here and didn't know if we were going to keep making both or stop over at SV.
  9. Horrifically it's been almost ten months since I added any scenario pages. Needless to say, many were needed. While I'm still without The Staff and the new Proving Grounds, I managed to update 9 BoA scenarios and Mistb0rn's 1hr BoE scenarios. Hopefully I can keep up the momentum and finish up some projects I started just as long ago. Other than that I had a couple of general questions: 1.) Who is in charge of the header and if I said I'd edit my website url, would they send it to me or perhaps just edit it themselves? 2.) With the new Review system, are we still making threads over at SV for new scenarios? 3.) While I've been considering and preparing to make a BoA graphics archive addition to PixPro, should I mirror BoE as far as organization and categorization or does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions for making it different?
  10. Round 4.2 I've seen Pikachu fight himself before. I'd estimate it took 20 minutes before the 'evil' pikachu got too tired to slap the 'good' pikachu any more but that was when the good one stopped fighting back. I'd expect if he kept fighting the time it'd take to tucker out the other one would be less though I'm not convinced that he could deliver a KO to himself being equally as tired. If he went with the strategy of waiting his opponent out and then delivering a KO blow, it might work, but I've no clue if it'd be fast enough to beat any of the others.

  12. The downloads aren't working today, can somebody get me a copy of The Staff and the new Proving Grounds so I can get them up on TrueSite? Thanks. Edit: Got em now.

Has been remedied. I guess I should keep a better eye on this forum than I have. PM's or e-mails for things like this usually get things fixed sooner. As to the original question, I find not being able to see a bit frightening though it can also be annoying if it lasts too long. Not being able to save the game also lends a realer sense of danger. Didn't TM figure out how to do that? Or was that in BoA?
  14. Yeah, I was just rearranging some stuff and forgot to update the links I had to the zippedWalk folder. It's fixed now. In other news, do you like the new 404 page? I made it ~fancy~.
  15. Whee... Idk, I'm kinda partial to Puppy's Quest. I couldn't figure out how to finish Fate of a Small Town. I think a walkthrough is in order. I hope my kids'll want to do something like this when they get a little bigger. Glad you had so much fun.
  16. The timing for the 5th frame seems a little too long and the 7th a little too short to finish reading it in one go.
  17. Okay, the version Ahbleza gave me is now up. I wonder about the readme though. There's no mention of what version it is even though the 1.01 readme was clear that it was version 1.01.
  18. Apparently he got it from my site though I have no idea why I had that dodgy copy of AC1 up or where I got it from. My site is now updated with the real deal. Refresh may be in order.

  20. As far as success rates go, I think part of the discrepancy has to do with dice rolls that we never see during combat. I'm not sure exactly what our enemies get rolls for but it seems they get rolls for defense and attack where we normally only get rolls for attack. So it's more than rolling high to get a success, it's rolling high and higher than your opponent. Likewise I think that the enemy hit rate is higher because when they roll for attack, they are only rolling against our stats which remain constant, some of them constantly low. Just some speculation on the current data though. Eph would have to give us more information to know for sure.
  21. Phew... done. The only ones on the list that I didn't do are - jonahzahndi because he replaced all his content with insults, - terrorsmartyr since he moved it himself and, - Arancaytar: http://www.geocities.com/arancaytar/frameset.html since he's already moved the content to EE already anyway. From my digging in the web.archive I got Drizzt's stuff back except for the graphics. Which makes me happy since his information was instrumental in teaching me how to node. Pity the visual aids are all missing though. What other way.back sites do you really want to see in the archive?
  22. Time is almost up... Has anyone else done anything with this? Not that I really expect anyone to, but without a yea or a nay, I have no idea if I'm doing all this for naught. I suppose if we have more than one record, we have more than one record. But, meh... It's late. I'm emo. Just wanted to let y'all know I've got it covered.
  23. Congrats on typing up a storm, Diki. You're fun to read.
  24. It depends on the weather conditions. Freshly laid snow and ice can warrant 10 miles or more under the limit. In heavy rain, 2-3 mph under is responsible. Also construction season is best navigated under the lowered limit if workers are present. Going below during normal conditions, I would consider slow just for the reason that I leave the house at the last possible minute to get somewhere on time.
  25. I like aggressive drivers because they keep the cops busy so they pay less attention to me. I'm a fan of going with the flow within reason. If everyone around me is going 10+mph over the speed limit, I'll go 10 over. If everyone is taking it nice and easy, I match. But if I'm in the lead, I like to go 5mph over and slow down as little as possible for turns. Gotta love that g-force. I usually drive rather defensively getting into the lane that I'll need to be in for my next turn and following the crowd, unless I notice a heavy truck ahead of me that will have to stop for a red light. That's about the only time I switch lanes.
