Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
The original N:R Items List was truncated by the new UBB format. The new Nethergate: Resurrection ITEMS LIST is found through this link. Ah. So. -S-
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Sylak's Wisdom Rock doesn't help knowledge skills, though it did in the original. It's an item you can use once per day to gain a miniscule amount of experience. EDIT: Or rather, Sylak's Enlightening Amber did in the original. Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
Thanks Slarty and Random—changes added. Lots more to come. This list for NR is rather complicated to make compared to an Avernum or Geneforge game. There are lots of details that could be, should be, and will be added as I either encounter them or someone feeds them to me: useful stuff like Rune Reading requirements which I don't otherwise normally bother to find out. Random, are you sure on the Nimble Gloves in the Ordeal Descent in Goagh-Nar? I have them listed as found here, just yesterday in the game I am playing as Celts right now: BOTTOM OF GOAGH-NAR (LEVEL 3) SECRET AREA: N out of W room — Iron Chain Mail, Golden Goblet, Nimble Gloves (blocks 3%, +1 Tool Use) — trapped box -S-
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I looked and the nimble gloves aren't where I thought they were. I seemed to have forgotten to write down their location.
Magnificent Ornk Aran
Uh, just a random comment: Is there a reason for all those mdashes? My browser got hickups from the high-bit characters for some reason...
Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
Yes, for wider spacing, and for replaceable dashes differentiated from normal dashes if I want to convert the document to tabbed sections. Mostly, it's just aesthetic. I've been using them on all my lists. -S-
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
I think there may be a few more Roman/Celt differences. I tried killing Queen Rit as Romans and she didn't drop anything at all, for example. The Spider Queen is actually the Widow Queen, and she's listed twice. Sleek is also listed twice -- once in the Circle Warrens (?). The list also says you can get a Selkie Chief's Skin from Blackfang Woods. Is that true? That's a neat extra if you can, as you can complete the hagfen quest without going evil. Finally, killing Raven (which requires attacking an innocent) earns you an All Circle Scroll, which grants +3 to all spell circles. A pretty big deal for Romans. Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
The All Circle scroll does not give points to all circles, only war, health, craft, and beast. It is impossible for Romans to learn the spirit circle at all.
Easygoing Eyebeast VCH
Any one know where I can get a second bug atracting amber? I already gave the one from Hagfen to the widow queen. The GIFTS want one as well.
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
There's only one. You have to choose which reward to get.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Also if you are playing the Celts you have to choose on giving the Stones to Sammael for some spells or Rose Lady for +1 in the first four abilities. The Romans have it easy since Rose Lady won't give them the quest.
Easygoing Eyebeast VCH
What about Gryphon feathers. I sacked the nest close to the hollow hills before getting the quest. Can I get some elsewhere? I only need key IV and I have them all.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
You get feathers in the Aerie, which is pretty far away from the Hollow Hills. If you killed everything there, though, you're stuck. —Alorael, who thinks someone should go into the scripts and make a use for the Puzzle Box. It could even be a contest. Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
I don't know scripting, but here's my idea. If you figure out how to open the Puzzle Box, you find Pearlblossom's earrings inside. Oh, and a cenobite comes to get you. -S-
Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
I am getting the following error trying to cut and paste my latest version of the Items List into my original post here: "Sorry, we do not permit this HTML tag:Parenthesis in HTML tag" I can't figure out for the life of me what this is talking about. Anyone know? -S-
Well-Actually War Trall Delicious Vlish
I totally want a cenobite to drop in for tea.
Easygoing Eyebeast VCH
Sylak's Bricks??
Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
Yeah, supposedly they exist in this game. Has anyone ever found them? I have to admit I never think to look at or pick up bricks. -S-
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
Originally by Synergy: Quote: "Sorry, we do not permit this HTML tag:Parenthesis in HTML tag" UBB doesn't like certain symbols (not necessarily parentheses) in links. That's the only time Dikiyoba ever recalls seeing it. If not, maybe your post is getting too long. Who knows?

Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
Well, I, the completely programming and html inept, have managed to figure out what UBB did not like in my updated Items list. For future reference, do not use "<=" inside parantheses or your post is rejected. I have updated the Items list at long last, and there have been many changes and additions. -S- ADDIT: Good score on the bricks, Random. I was thinking about jumping that cliff yesterday while in the Circle Warrens, but didn't have the Rod of Safe Descent with me. Then I forgot about it. I love these perilous cliffs in NG. If I had built this level, I would have attempted to make the level so deep ultimately that you couldn't see down the cliff to the ledge, nor up to the ledge. You'd have to jump to find there is a ledge there at all. I wonder what the practical depth to a level is. I remember playing Doom II and Dark Forces where you had some amazingly deep chasms you could plunge into, a very creepy effect. ADDIT 2: You can jump into the pit under the Temple of Brigantia too. It's kind of amusing what happens if you do.

Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
Has anyone figured out what makes Sylak's Bricks amazing? They seem pretty unspecial to me. -S-
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Sylak's Bricks are the new Puzzle Box.
Kyshakk Koan La paix
I've noticed that Sylak's Amazing Bricks multiply over time just to wear you down. Edit: Synergy, you missed something in the Crone Caverns that I know the Celts can get (not sure about Romans) past a barrier and a sign that says "BE CAREFUL IN HERE. VALUABLE SPECIMEN." (something like that) containing a Wind Warrior and a secret cubicle with a blessed longsword within.
Kyshakk Koan La paix
[bump] Sorry for the double post, but my above edit is a very worthwhile investment available so early in the game!
Tenderfoot Thahd Bremen
You're missing the scroll of Withering (I think there's a couple others with it) in the Vale of the Sould in a secret room. I'm not sure what (if anything) it does - when I used it my stats stayed the same.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Withering and potion of loss are a few of the cursed items held over from the original game. It's supposed to have a negative effect I think to stats or experience.
Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
Fractal — you're right, I must have missed finding that hidden cubicle. I remember the room behind the barrier with the Wind Warrior. I remember being disappointed there was nothing worth the bother behind it. Somehow I missed the secret area. Thanks for the addition. -S-
