Articulate Vlish Antarctica
I'm having trouble opening the repository bays, does anyone know how to?
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
The repository is a challenge area later in the game. You can't open any of the doors until you essentially hit the Storm Plains (ie until you buy the game). Grab the Icy Blade and get out, you probably can't deal with the creatures here. Oh, I was expecting to do everything in the demo before buying the game. But thanks for the info. As for the icy blade, I was going to do that with my lower level lifecrafter after I had found out what an awesome sword it is (using a lot of cheat codes )
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
It's the 5th best in the entire game, actually (Puresteel Soulblade, Oozing Sword, Viper's Touch, and Puresteel Blade are all better, but you can't get any of those for a long time). I would recommend that you buy the game, it's great!
Articulate Vlish Antarctica
Another question, I've killed everything in Jelinek's inn as he requested, I talked to him, clicked on all the options, and the quest still isn't completed. What am I missing?
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
Have you ventured back into the far NW corner? If you do, then the bandit leader will exit a heavily locked door, and you have to kill her to complete the quest. Alternately, you could unlock the door, but that's a waste of Living Tools. Articulate Vlish Antarctica
Yeah, I've killed Antonia. Could it be a glitch or something?
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
It's possible. The game file may be corrupted or something. Luckily the demo doesn't take too long and you can replay it. I recommend getting the whole game, it's even better than the demo.
Articulate Vlish Antarctica
I guess I'll just pick a different class and replay it.
Articulate Vlish Antarctica
Question again; I can create a fyora, cryoa, roamer, thahd, clawbug, artilla, and a plated artilla. Are those all the creatures that can be unlocked in the demo?

Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
Nooo, he should buy the game if he wants to create new monsters. Then, he will actually have enemies to fight against.
Kyshakk Koan inni
yes, buy i never said he shouldn't buy the game.
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
I think the point is that information on any sort of cheat or script modification shouldn't be given unless someone asks for it or they are well and truly stuck in a situation that can't be fixed without it. Not everyone wants to cheat and it can really mess up people's games, so it's something to be somewhat cautious about. Dikiyoba.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
In geneforge the only cheat that I use is in G1 and that is the one that makes people forgive you for stealing.

Whoops, looks like I fall into that category. Although I'm still not done. I do plan to steal Goetssch's(sp) gloves though (GF1, btw). Don't know if that counts. Chittering Clawbug goblindolf
I'm reminded of some shopkeeper in geneforge who wouldnt deal with me after i looted his storeroom. I saved after looting it thinking everything would be ok since i didnt set off any traps and nobody saw me steal.

To which store owner(s) are you referring? I don't remember any in the Geneforge series that wouldn't sell to me because of stealing or unlocking doors in their shop. I would guess the owner(s) in question wouldn't deal with you because you were a part of or sympathized with an opposing faction. I could be remembering incorrectly though. That's Avernum 5, there is a shopkeeper who will not buy your mined crystals if you rob his store. He's in the Drake Pillars, IIRC.

I know Buron in G1 (the servile who sells batons in the Holding Cells zone) refuses to sell to you if he catches you stealing. That's all Dikiyoba can think of off the top of Dikiyoba's head. Unflappable Drayk ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε
there is also that guy in harston in A5 with that mining company who refuses to deal with you after being looted. i always though that was more logical than "nice armor, i've a set just like it myself. heres $500 for it"
