It's absolutely ridiculous to not train in Mage spells for your mage (or priest spells for your priest) until the Dark River. However, that Eyebeast is exceptionally useful for giving a few PS levels to your fighters, in case emergency healing is needed.

It boosts spell damage by a flat 20% (IIRC), unlike War Blessing, which just adds 4 damage die to your attack. It's a great spell.

I should probably give advanced warning as soon as possible: I'll be absolutely guaranteed to be missing this session with no chance of attendance, due to work now reaching hectic pace. RL does had an unfortunate tendency to interfere sometimes, and my greed also played a large part, too. Sorry. Just presume Kurex follows you very closely, and mumbles disjointed sentence fragments about his past.

The only interesting idea would be the ability to Shape serviles and then have them be useless in combat, but give them inventories. The small size of the Geneforge inventories always was a bit of a problem for me...

Seems good. With the Infiltrator items boost to Lead, you should be fine. You might want to drop a few more points into Mental Magic and Spellcraft, though.

Some people will want saltweed and wiry moss for quests, and in the later games, you can use it to craft items. But beyond that, there's not much use.

I knew a guy who went to college with me who wound up at the JPL. We kept in touch for a few years, and by his account it's a fascinating place to work... Hang on a sec. Rocket geologist? Wait, what?
