  1. On a whim (and after passing it by a mod) I became interested in starting a pro-trakovite group, more likely for the point of saying you're a Trakovite, but maybe kinda trying to spread the word about Trakovitism. I am still looking for a name for the group. anyone is welcome to come up with suggestions for a name or join.
  2. Custom items are fun to create, but if you do make a custom item you will need to replace an existing item, because the locations of items and enemies, and the terrain maps are hardwired into the game. Either mess with one of the existing charms, or I think there is something you can put in to make them have the "charm" effect. Don't know those. If you make any creations stronger than it originally was than your creations will be stronger, but so will the enemy creations, so I don't think it's worth it unless you are looking for a challenge. There is an ornk canister in the game, so you can shape them but they unfortunately aren't very good. Other wise you could mess with the graphics and stats to make a thahd or Alpha look and act like ornks or serviles. Edit: Also if you haven't already you should look at the script editing thread in the helpful links.
  3. That was... an interesting take on things.... Don't get it... but interesting....
  4. Hail fellow Trakovite! You are forgetting that most of the towns in the forsaken lands were doing okay (they weren't going to die out in 20 years) or quite well. Therile had hired tough guards which it couldn't have done without money (yes I know there was harsh servile labor, I object to that). I don't think that people went on a manhunt for serviles that were intelligent, but followed orders. The rebellion is part intelligent serviles who rebelled against cruel treatment (which isn't as common as they make it sound, in Shaper Camp Gamma the guy cared for the serviles), and partially because they had nothing better to do. Think about it this way, you work for 8 to 10 hours a day. Being made for this, it doesn't bother you working that long, you just get bored when you aren't working. You ask for something to do, but the overseer denies you. What would you do? At this point in the war those are basically the choices a servile could have but if the shapers just gave serviles something to do they might have a much smaller rebellion to deal with. About the going on a holocaust against species, only a few shapers actually go looking for drakons, eyebeasts, and drayks to kill. Unless the Drakon or drayk is actually close by or they are being a nuisence, most shapers won't go out of their way to hunt them down. As Slaughtering said, the only side that has a morally correct arguement is the Trakovites, which you can't actually join (Arrgh). Hail the Trakovites.
  5. The only way to solve this arguement is to get rid of shaping completely. Everyone would need to rethink their battle plans, since now no one can suvive for months anymore, which would mean they would need to watch out for the common people who grow the food.
  6. Learn how to mess with scripts it requires a lot less time and effort. Then you can make the ultimate sword or armor. For a list of item abilities and stats look at the handy links at the top of the page. Also make sure you back up your files before you mess with ANYTHING!!!!
  7. Are Barzites anything like Trakovites? If not, why does everyone forget about Trakovites? Ha, I just got the G2 part, Trakovites weren't around. But Are Barzites like Trakovites?
  8. Yeah, except some people don't want to cheat, and others don't know how to use an editor, let alone make one.
  9. Generally to get there, you'll need to sneak around. High mechanics is a good thing.
  10. I hate to take sides, but Iffy might have been taking it literally. In real life if you are stealthy they would be less likely to see you, but the same holds true with your arguement, if you are stealthy you need to be closer for them to notice you.
  11. Well the ability to shoot things of of his/her arms is digimonish. Also the ways the legs and wings are drawn. They look kinda like a mix of wargreymon and something elses legs, and a mix of Beelzemon burst mode's and imperialdramon's wings. The llife crafter also is hard to tell what gender it is, and looks like she is wearing a thick winter coat. Useful in some situations, but not all.
  12. Though they are well drawn I don't have a particular liking for them. The first one reminds me of a new digimon, and the secondone looks too manic. My 101st post.
  13. This isn't that modified. I still don't get my chioces. Especially since I don't know which party I support, and Trakovite or awakened appeal to me most.
  14. That thing reminds me of a digimon. Does anyone else think that? (Wiki digimon if you forgot what they look like)
  15. What if I'm not sure about who I agree with most? Does that mean I'm a Trakovite???
  16. it's always nice to get extra experience (even though it may not give you any).
  17. The one problem with that is that there will always be some tyrannical person who will find the shaping secrets and use them to get power. It's human nature to want as much as possible. Another moncarch will always happen, unless Shaping is stictly controlled, like it was before (I'm not saying anything about creation rights), or shaping is exterminated completely, which would be the better of the two options. Someone will always abuse the power, unless the power is difficult to obtain, or doesn't exist.
  18. Well said. I agree. The shapers need to reform. But changing to much could make it too easy for a power hungry non-intelligent dictator tyrant to learn how to shape, only to make a disease that kills everything.
  19. How do you get that much without changing item stats?
  20. This is starting to go in a direction (if it already hasn't) that will/would break several board rules. I would advise that you be careful what you say.
  21. Now that's just gross. Although on second thought I should have looked who was saying it.
  22. From what I understand mental magic is considered one of the most powerful branches of magic, but does do you think it makes the game too easy and/or makes the "best/easiest" classes what they are?
