  1. Maybe... Pink = Nikkiyora or Nicoyora
  2. And the well hurled kitchen knife.
  3. Uh, I can't think of any special attacks, can you?
  4. I am mediocre with scirpts. I can change conversations, change item stats, how an item attacks, item color, item graphics, how many times an item can be enhanced on the anvil, and if I tried I could probably change character stuff too.
  5. Nice one Diki. Let's remember that arguing over spam is technically almost the same as spam. I don't think a tasty charged vlish would explode, but that is definitely an idea to work with. Since the tissues of the vlish are charged with essence, would eating a chartged tasty vlish restore your essence? Or would it send some cool sensation through your body? Also, I can imagine vlish (tasty or not) becoming a delacasy of the Drakons:*british accents* "Glahdring could you please some more of that wonderfully tasty vlish you discovered?" "Why certainly my dear Sallassar, what ho!"
  6. Yes, I agree with most of those, Khrhyk, maybe Monarch, The drakons (of course), not Pirik (she doesn't do enough), Miranda, Litalia, General Crowley, and of course Pol (why does he have to die in the shaper ending?).
  7. Just to let you know there are some fights that you can't avoid, though it is feasable to never have your pc attack. Have other people do it (i.e. Greenfang, the servile in Ilyia safehouse, the people who you get to help for monarch, shotwell, the other shapers, or your creations) For an all stealth build, you don't get enough items to make it feasable until somewhere after midway, though stealth is very helpful. If you do want to avoid combat. Invest in mechanics, leadership, blessing, healing, and mental magic, and some parry would make sense.
  8. Yes, but as pointed out before, they taste good with the right sauce. You just need to find the right taste to go with vlish.
  9. If I ever use cheats it's for entertainment not for progress. I do however do minimal script editing.
  10. The one flaw with the poison slow death thing, is that once a smart chef is done with the tasty vlish, all or most toxic substances would be removed and all that would be left would be the tasty tissues. Unless of course all parts of a vlishes body are poisonous. I like Diki's reason better. It makes less sense. Also who says you would be eating yourself. Wouldn't it be another vlish?
  11. What's the point of having your sig as I want a tasty vlish but then not wanting to eat it. that doesn't make sense.
  12. After reading Delicious Vlish's Signature, I am wondering if Jeff will include any type of edible (preferably tasty) vlish in G5. What do you think?
  13. Oh, huh. That's wierd. Maybe he just wants to look cool.
  14. Master Jared in the end of the game maybe??? Says his skin is exactly like wax and his glowing green eyes can't focus on anything, or something like that.
  15. Sorry, I mostly just visit the boards , not the website, and thought it was wierd that he didn't do it for A5 since he has done it for almost all of his other games. It was more curiousity than anything. Also I generally am more interested in Geneforge games than Avernum so I was not keeping up on when the expected release date was.
  16. Out of sheer curiousity I was wondering why there wasn't any announcement that A5 was out posted on the announcement boards?
  17. I think it would be interesting to see a child's point of view on the game and which sect they chose to ally with. To bad they probably wouldn't get most of what's happening. Tal, you make it sound like playing as a guardian is a bad thing. Why?
  18. In my current party on the demo, I have two nephil(spelling?), one an archer and one a lock-picker, a mage and a priest, all at least minoring in archerey. It is very fun to pick off goblins before they even know you are there.
  19. Are you saying that you want to put... oooh, I see, the first letter of each word spells trakovite. I don't think that would work, unless we found something good to use. Any way not everyone would support what was encoded in trakovite.
  20. Alright, anyone who thinks that the Trakovite motives make logical sense put =:T:= In your signature. Also anyone who is not up for getting rid of shaping completely or right away, but do think the Trakovites have a point, can put it in your signature. Nalyd: Apology accepted.
  21. Is anyone actually interested in stating that they are a Trakovite and maybe joining? Or any names? If not I may ask a mod to close the thread.
  22. Excuse me Nalyd, but I politely asked critics to save their critisicm for later. Please read all the posts before posting. Next time you imply swearing I may inform someone. Notice that the CoC says no swearing. Thank you. Edit: This is supposed to be more of a thing to identitfy yourself as a Trakovite, and then if it gets big enough try to tell other about it. I'm interested to know how many people support Trakovites.
  23. No worries, it was relatively on topic compared to what has been said on other threads. But seriously, everyone think about what this war was originally started because. Intelligent creations wanted freedom, shaper lack of action, and more accessability to the power to shape. We have discussed creation freedom. The shapers saw them as a danger (excluding serviles), mostly because if they got the chance the drayks, drakons, and eyebeasts would have tried to make humans slaves to them, even before the shapers started killing them. The creations are smart enough to realize they don't want to die and fight back. Since it's already in their nature to seek power they now have a reason to justify if they overthrew the Shapers. Unfortuanately they would not be able to overcome what was shaped into them, and just replace the shapers. The shaper inaction was, not doubt, drawn from a strong logical reason. If they helped a village that was starving because of cold by making a grain that could survive cold then that grain would eventually get out of hand and start growing everywhere it could, wiping out other plant life. If they made a creation that ate the grain, then that creation would probably start to eat all the local vegetation, preventing the regrowth of the original plants, stripping the area of all plant life. Just introducing one species can throw off an ecosystem in inumerable and unpredictable ways. In the golden age of the shapers they probably took all that into account and decided if it was worth it. Later though they probably didn't mess with it due to laziness. The more accessibility to shaping is probably the most dangerous thing that can happen to the world. Right now with more shaping the bad effects have not emerged because everyone has someone to target their shaping at. However if it were not war time, accessable shaping would be disasterous. If one farmer that could shape lost his crops to cold then the situation above could become a very much worse reality. Plus there will always be someone like Monarch that tries to use shaping to his advantage and starts shaping uncontrollable creations, maybe even as strong as the Unbound. But the worst thing that could happen would probably be the creation of a virus. That would be unstoppable and undetectable, as well as incredibly lethal. The only way to avoid all of those from happening is to either limit shaping incredibley, or to get rid shaping completely.
  24. Thank you Diki, your input (comical, and serious) is greatly appreciated. By spreading the word I mean presenting arguements about the advantages of Trakovitism. I think I could probably use the word Trakovites, but the beliefs of the Trakovites are much like a religion and also saying trakovite beliefs every single time is rather... tedious. Any name suggestions?I've thought of Trakovite Union, Public Trakovite Association. Rather bland.
  25. I am going to ask politely that all critics of Trakovitism please do not post on this thread unless it is on topic. I am relatively serious about this Trakovite group. Thank you.
