Will A5 keep the save slots? It might be a bit much to ask, but they annoy people. I think the easiest incarnation of the saving system is the N:R one, where they automatically direct themselves to an auto-made folder. Very easy and fast. I know that it is probably a trouble to script this, but it is just a little something I wanted back, along with a few others in a recent topic.

Battle Omega, huh? Don't worry, I don't blame you for the typo. I wonder what that would look like...perhaps an Omega on his chest? I love Omegas. I'm surprised to see that so many people love the Awakened. I like them too, but this is interesting. If there was a sect similar to the G2 Takers made up of creations/serviles only but had more Awakened-like views, they would be like me because I really love creations and I'm always wanting them to be free. Did anyone else get Aran's Infiltrator joke?

How did you acquire the beta? Did you go to that conference or something?

I've done this two times (as Celt) and haven't encountered anything unusual at all. It's just plain odd.

What do you mean by somewhere along the way? Which PC slot is the character? Did ANYTHING happen that you noticed that was odd?

A Perfect Forest for BoA has admirable cutscenes. That's always been a favorite scenario. Edit: Oh dear. I was afraid of getting the fourth page. Sorry. Edit 2: A few of the abilities in the older Avernum games were a tad unbalanced. Such as Divine Aid for example. Especially because it's usable once per day. That could be exploited to the maximum. I hope battle disciplines are a balanced new field. They sound very exciting!

I remember you (or someone) talking about odd game-saving problems. What exactly happens when you attempt to save your game in A1 or 2? I never had problems like that with my system nine.

It seems like everyone has been talking about their fathers lately. I would be a miracle if I got my dad into any sort of computer game except arcadey ones. Edit: Ugh! I hate the A3 Golem Factory!!! Those lasers get on my nerves.

I had a color-related idea that was hideously misinterpreted about three weeks ago. I've always wanted interesting color variety. It does seem slightly hard to implement though.

How sad. I got the southern treasure. Ah well. I've always had a strange love of teaser areas. They give a nice, mysterious atmosphere to the game. Thanks for the help.

Using a script cheat in G1, I created the true death ornk: ÜberOrnkie was his name. He was about level 50 or so. I forgot. He ate all in just one bite!!! I was way bored, so I decided to do crazy, stupid things like that. Ah well.

What are the effects in all the other games, for that matter? And why would you want to add a typo? That seems like a fairly foolish manner of getting attention.

How did they die? Spontaneously, or by damage? I certainly don't remember death being part of the endgame. Of course, I have been known to forget minor details on occasion.

In the general SW area, there is a secret crypt area with some barriers which I dispelled, the tables with skulls and bones, plus the central area with an encounter that drains experience that I can't get past. This is my second time playing through as Celts. I never figured out if you can get in there. Or is it just another teaser area for Celts? I remember, as Romans, you could get through with no encounter, but there was nothing there. All help, as usual, is appreciated.

I think I would like it if there was ever something like fatigue that forced you to rest. So that for once, you would need to buy rooms in the inn or have food. Or something that would require you to eat. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy...

Since I am playing Celts and I already did the Selkie pelts, I decided to go back with Key V to open some boxes and kill the witches. Gwyar dropped yet another undiscovered Archdruid's Robe! I want to keep it, but I need to know if killing the people in Hagfen marks you as a murderer because I still want full access to everything and no hostilites. Keep in mind that I haven't even done Goagh-Nar yet because I wanted all the Sylak keys first.

In which area is this barrel? How many items (stacks count as one) are in the barrel?

Actually, I did read your post. It's just that with me, that's always how it's been for some reason I don't care about.

I think that's just how A1 is. That's the way I remember it anyway. Guess you'll just have to live with it!

My real computer is really bug-free. Luckily, I will be back at it tomorrow.
