  1. *Narrows eyes dangeriously* I somehow expected more from "beloved" Nalyd.
  2. I want to see my old G3 PC turn up again! Barring that I think G5 should be a post-armageddon world were the shaper-rogue war has devestated the planet a bit like Heros of Might and Magic VI were two waring factions had wiped each other off the face of the earth by a holocaustic explosion. A thousand years after the war were the earth is devestated and humans are reduced to small communitys with myths about a war among the gods and lifemakers etc etc.
  3. I used a force of Alien Beasts and Pack Leaders and the odd Van Lord to storm Kriszan once. (Can anyone capture a guard btw?)
  4. Problem is the last few golems are VERY HARD!!! Seriously you need power to get this.
  5. *Chants* BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u BoG BoG BoG We love u *Stops Chanting, looks around* Go on, I'd buy it!
  6. You can't get outside of the Fort for quite a while, do more quests in the castle. Also its possible to script to get outside of the Fort but I'd recommend waiting, the monsters on the other side are quite tough.
  7. two kyshakk's and something of your choice.
  8. *sigh* In numbers: how much essance do you have. Which Area (name) are you in? Which creations (names) can you make?
  9. What's your total essance count and what creations can you currently make? Also, what area are you in?
  10. Muff.....Be nice to the newbie please. Yes it is possible but I find the trainers are more then adequate.
  11. On a related topic. Is there any way at all to get into Erikas chambers? When I try I just get blasted by some runes and nothing seems to stop them.
  12. ***COUGH COUGH*** Stop please. [mini-mod mode off] There are many trainers in the game if you need them, also the cheat codes are useful for gaining XP and healing and killing all NPC's on the map. I play a game for the story-line, not to hack my way through dozens of monsters no matter how inventive they are. EDIT: Typo fixed
  13. Killing Hodge will make it impossible to get past the first fort on donal island. I tried and the captain of the fort is always busy or I get rather a nasty error message about hodge not being there or a SSD flag not active. Mind you I do play a slightly modded game so the facts here may be taken with a pinch of salt.
  14. *Dances around in manic extasy* Oh YeaH oh YEAh OH yeahYEAHYEahHHHyeah!
  15. I got angry when I discovered that. Why have a plated Clawbug THAT DOSE NOT HAVE POISON DAMAGE? Also the Ur-Glaak I am annoyed about.
  16. X, for the same reasons. -Nija, who personally thinks that A4 would have a hard time with an anvil spell simply because of the grahics engine.
  17. Good because I'm not one of 'em *mearest hint of pride*
  18. Absolutely screaming hilarious!
  19. I'll take a nice glowing figure in a complete suit of amour with an impresively bloody death-picture if you please. High-level with spells and a special attack. Not sure about the graphics though. EDITTTTTT: My fav is BoA with a few more scenarios and a lot less junk like CV. EDIT 2: Possible Necromany. EDIT 3: I should learn to look at post-dates.
  20. Quote: Originally written by Eugi: But guys, all these things about base building and stuff totally change the game! You are going from a single-player turn-based RPG that's mostly played solo to a Dungeon Keeper hybrid of some sort. Personally I would like some customization in the series (for example, in GF3 I loved coming to each island and picking out a "home" for my character. Cleaning it up and organizing my stack of supplies there). But I'd rather avoid dealing with micro-management of "research", resources and base building. tl;dr - Remember the "spirit" of the game. The things you describe sound cool but would they really add to the Geneforge experience? Hell, I'd happily pay 100$ for a game like that and blast the delays!
  21. I prefered the Neverwinter Nights method. You died and you got revived with a major penelty to XP and Gold and in some areas you couldn't be revived.
  22. *cough cough* Explore Erikas tower more, theres more there then meets the eye. I play the unreged E3 and enjoy it, just something...nice at the end of the day.
  23. I once had an Agent with very weird stats, such as 2 melee weapons, 2 battle magic and 30 luck. I was undefeatable! Blows just seemed to slide off me and my return strikes did awsome damage. I also never seemed to get dazed or cursed. Odd universe eh?
  24. I like think G5 will be a post-nuclear war type game were the land is ruined from the unbound and the humans have almost been wiped out and forgotten about the war just to survive. I think I saw a game that had this theme once, you could walk around, do stuff, fight post-atomic mutants and even marry a wife and rais a family. pity it was 16+, it looked quite good. (Mind you, Freelancer had a 15+ rating yet is only about 7+ in what it actually contains!)
