  2. I'm playing a game that involves killing everyone once their purpose is served and none of the arch-magi drop robes of the magi. Hell, even the idiot in the honeycomb does, but not X, Solberg, Rone, etc.
  3. He's talking about the ones in the Darside Camp (the one with the jade halberd, not Dorikas). The only way to kill the pylons there is to turn off the power going to them (in the SE corner).
  4. You can't talk to Starrus before the game allows you to. The lock on his doors are unbreakable by any means.
  5. It's the size of a damn paring knife for god's sake. And that is canon. Paring knives under any circumstances are unusable in combat.
  6. In E/A II it was used to sever the traps in Garzahd's fortress.
  7. Why? How are those facts? Is that canon? Did it have those effects in previous games?
  8. Shift+D toggles debug mode on and off, I think.

  10. And just about any back story that JV makes up would fail to please most people. It's better to just make up your own back story and leave it at that.
  11. How did you first find avernum? spidweb.com What game did you first play? Exile 3 Why did you play it? Because I was 10 (I think) and that was the only game my brother had downloaded onto the computer. What is your favorite game? Nethergate.
  12. The wand of the inferno is part of a quest. The discipline wand deals a lot of damage to creations, and the spawner is a creation last I checked. The trick to using crystals and wands isn't they do more damage than your spells, it's that you can use two per turn. And if you want to use the wand instead of giving it up, it deals damage to all foes you can see, so it's quite a powerful wand. In fact, come to think of it, I believe you can use up all but one charge on it before completing the quest and get the same reward. As per your creations, I think the rout to take is to surround yourself with thahds and cast war blessing.
  13. I think if you have enough leadership you can tell it to kill itself.
  14. I think it may remove (or hasten the removal of) buffs. I'm not too sure on this one though.
  15. Then why did you comment on it if all it is to you is a bunch of fairy tales? Also, there is one source undisputed by Christians and by Jews, it is the old testament. If you inderstand the original language it was written in then it's kind of hard to dispute what it says as it says things very clearly and concisely. The reason there are so many interpretations and explanations of the same concepts is because the idiots who tried translating the old testament from bibilical hebrew to other languages knew practically nothing about hebrew. And even when they did understand the language, they didn't translate it literally, instead they changed the defenition of many words to support their own dogma.
