  1. Bah. Keywords. In Exile, they were hell. In Nethergate, merely an annoyance. Either way, -X- prefers the tried and true response system. This is his impatience speaking.
  2. -X- isn't completely sure, but he thinks that you should go to Diwaniya first, and then Lankan. -X- prefers to exterminate the rebels in every way possible, but he's a fanatic.
  3. -X- went Wind Warrior crazy in the underworld. he hasted, ran up ahead, cast five times, ran back, and waited. No threat at all.
  4. Not at all. It really is tormenting.
  5. -X- keeps every charm he can get his hands on. He just can't shake the feeling that he will drastically need every last one of them by the end of the game.
  6. There are a few servile shopkeepers that will give you reduced prices, but they don't have anything really worthwhile.
  7. -X- has gone all ways. Usually, he destroys the Geneforge, uses no canisters, obliterates Trajkov and Goettsch, kills the Takers, awakened, leaves the Shaper Crypt undefiled, and kills every rogue possible. Shapers all the way, baby.
  8. Is Shaper Monarch the "You" from Geneforge 1? He displays mostly the same mindset as a user of the Geneforge, and he comments on having a kingdom. He has a Control Baton, things that were found frequently on Sucia. He doesn't make anything above tier 3, which was the top of the heap in Geneforge 1. -X- finds it quite likely that he was a resurfacing PC.
  9. -X- always goes for every chance he gets to prove his loyalty to the Shapers. Long live the Empire!
  10. Ah. . . An honest board member that likes Jeff's games. . . That almost makes -X- want to lift his ban on non-hatred/sadness emotions. . . Ah well.
  11. When you get to the docks, though, be ready for a severe (If you haven't completed any side quests) ambush. And please use real Grammar.
  12. Eh, Shaper Monarch wasn't intimidating at all once he ran away the first time. If he's afraid of you, then he's not threatening. It was only hard if you didn't find the Control Rod earlier.
  13. Eh, -X- prefers to use the menu, and Geneforge 2 is unlikely to ever be updated unless a death-bug is found.
  14. Yes, -X- once managed to take a Wingbolt down with a cryoa. It was enchanced, though, and he won due to luck more than anything.
  15. -X- thanks Hawk King. Emperor Tullegolar. . . Maybe. . .
  16. Because, traditionally, Spiderweb caters first to Mac users, and then to Windows if they have time, which they usually do. Besides, most of the board members are Mac users, from what -X- can tell. And they're "special"
  17. Does anybody plan to make and editor for Geneforge 4? And if so, about when will it come out?
  18. -X- has done that many times. He changed all of the spell graphics to terrain, too. It started out as a floating grass square, and progressed through all terrain types into water when it hit. And then the blood graphic had grass turning into water rising up from them. Hilarious.
  19. Magda twists her ankle in the exact place that would conviently make her break her leg, thus making you leave her behind. Ah, the overused cliche.
  20. Quote: Compared to gender-changing dragons, this is nothing. Dragons? you mean Serviles! The word of Jeff Vogel is law. This issue is resolved. This topic is ripe for death.
  21. -X- played through Geneforge with a sole Guardian intent on using no canisters at all. Playing on Torment, he succeeded after a couple of months. . . But he found Glaahks to be all but invincible when there is another creation nearby. So, with the Glaahk and Battle Alpha duos in the Crypts, -X- was slaughtered.
  22. That was unnecessary. -X- suspects that you just copied it out of the hintbook. And don't say that you were being nice to the people who don't have it, either. The less Spiderweb sells, the longer it takes for new games to come out, and the worse said games are. So stop. Before you set off a chain-reaction.
  23. Yes, but -X- used up all of the mind nutrients in the game by the time he went there. Which was right before he left on the blown-up Avernum boat.
  24. Necromancy! And of -X-'s topic, no less. Ah, the shame. . .
