  1. A mix of wood and metal, actually.
  2. And Nalyd, at least, will hate you on a level closer to that of the other members.
  3. Nalyd would be a Shaper, without a doubt. Besides the fact that they're winning, their rewards are superior by far.
  4. The creations would lead, of course. The battle creations in front, followed by the fire, and then magic creations. There would then be human soldiers, baton wielders, and mages behind them. There might be a few Guardians towards the back, but for the most part the Shapers would stay at camp and bless, haste, heal, etc. They are not expendable, and if one of them dies, all of their creations will go rogue.
  5. Agreed. Divine Retribution was just not worth it by the time you found it, and Divine Warrior had that nice little invulnerability thrown in.
  6. Eh, fine. Part of the Great Secret.
  7. Nalyd has a question for Tullegolar. Would non-canister users still be accepted into the armies and cities? Or would you exterminate all that you didn't think were worthy of canisters, making serviles and creations to fill their palce?
  8. Exiled Necromancer - What makes you so sure that every hyped-up can-mad freak would be so willing to commit suicide and live peacefully in a world ripe for the taking? And wouldn't it be just a little bit suspicious if an entire family/friend web with one connection to a single uber-person was suddenly murdered for no apparent reason? People would investigate, my anti-friend.
  9. It would depend if things were available otherwise. If you could simply learn the spells and creations, then Nalyd would never touch a canister. If not, then screw it! Bring on the Tower of Power!
  10. Yes, Nalyd loves the "Paladin" build. your priest saves valuable spell points and your fighters almost never run out. If you add haste, your priest becomes almost useless. Nalyd also tries to give all characters some skill in archery. It's just too useful to go without. After all, how else do you get the infinite supplies of food?
  11. Nalyd is never{/I] patient. Nalyd would be perfectly not-angry with you if you would agree to be understandable. When Nalyd gets angry, he goes overboard. Those were good points, but they're wasted unless people like Nioca serve as translators for those without the need or patience to retype things. And that was rare, at best.
  12. Opon Mars, Sucia Island has served it's purpose. It was an important one, but it is most likely over. You can fantasize about a "Great Return" all you want, but leave us alone with it.
  13. Definitely increase his armor. Nalyd could make him run in two turns with his Infiltrator-Drayk combo. And give him that annoying charm ray spell to use once in a while. Nalyd would also get rid of the charm option for the control rod. Replace it with a "permanent stun".
  14. Opon Mars, Nalyd has lost patience with you. Stop your failed attempts at poetry, and use English that can be understood. Stop your borderline noobish comments, and stop saying that cheats are a feasible strategy. We can barely understand what the you're saying, and Nalyd doubts that it would make sense at any rate. Now, on topic. The loss of Mass Madness wouldn't be too bad, so long as Strong Daze was still available. Nalyd could not have survived several essential fights without Elemental Cloak. But the real loss would have been the healing spells.
  15. Heusstess was killed in the Shaper Purge of Sucia Island. He doubtlessly took down many Shapers and creations with him when he died, but his destruction was inevitable. A being that powerful could not help but be sensed by the Shapers, and they would never have let him live.
  16. No. He does, however, give you the "Great Secret".
  17. The ability to shape oneself isto unnatrally deviate or speed up the process of evolution beyond what the mind can cope with. To Shape yourself improves body and power, but not the mind. The result is an insane monstrosity with enormous power. If the entire world were made upof such things, then everything would become blackened and charred, a volcanic and twisted remnant of what everything was. The new beings will have the power to change it back to green and health, but their minds will have decayed too far to be able to recognize the need to.
  18. In game, Nalyd uses canisters depending on what side he's on. Rebel - Sometimes, Shaper - Never. In the not-so-immortal words of Spock, Live long and prosper. In the only-slightly-less-immortal words of Nalyd, Die soon and starve.
  19. There are hints that taking too many canisters too fast is dangerous. The Master upstairs in Southforge says that he is increasing his power "As safely as possible". Also, Nalyd has visions of Rebels exploding from using so many canisters that they become a bloated blob of blindingly bright dough. And then they explode.
  20. Although in Geneforge 4, Litalia was apparently able to train herself to become sane and normal again. Nalyd wonders how many therapists died doing that. Emperor Tullegolar - Nalyd usually stands with your ideals, but not here. Nalyd views anything that can become addictive, or that changes the mind in some way as inherently dangerous. How easy would it be for someone to slip a little poisonous essence into those canisters of yours, eh? The canisters also inspire overconfidence, which will soon lead any leader to death. The eliminate the possibilty of diplomacy in many cases, and stop you from garnering anything but hatred or fear from the unaltered around you.
  21. You have to know when to make your creations distract enemies while you haste and run. It took -X- several tries to get to the end. Sneak attacks on the guards work well, if you can kill them before they sound the alarm.
  22. -X- beleives that that enchancment comes from the Runed Onyx.
  23. All Shaped beings are creations, reptile or not.
  24. Actually, if you get too much intelligence, your essence and energy will go negative by about 30,000. So, 30,000 is probably tour maximum for everything. -X- prefers to use custom-made charms to increase stats beyond possible limits.
