  1. Nalyd's G3, along with having a broken CD drive, is afraid of mice.
  2. Maybe have some of the more "Optional" forts restock themselves with generic bandits every 5000 turns or so.
  3. Oh, and the return of the Farsight spell. Maybe as an ability instead of a spell, though. It always seemed like it should be harder.
  4. There are lists in the links on the front page of this forum. They're in the FAQs.
  5. You could always Shape a deadly disease that corrupts and destroys everything containing essence, release it on the mainland, purge a much smaller area like the Ashen Isles, and wait a couple hundred years for everything to rot away.
  6. Another thing - Use a different portal system. The double teleport that the pylons used was annoying, especially on slower computers.
  7. The return of death by petrification. The A4 "Freeze" effect was annoying, but nowhere near as deadly.
  8. Quote: By Upon Mars: So the trajkovites have to invent a alternative to shaping. No. They can merely suffer more, or if they have inept Shapers to begin with, less. The problem with Shaping is that it requires extreme foresight and pattern recognition. The Shapers have only the foresight, if the restriction on crop modifications are enforced. If the Shapers had the microscope technology of the Drakons, then an enormous amounts of trial and error would be avoided. However, they were apparently unable to recover the technology from two successful purgings of rebel strongholds. For Tully, the rewarding of a job well done is essential. It's like giving a dog a bone. It's still inferior and dependent, but it gives you a way of punishment later, and will motivate future success beyond the norm.
  9. Destroyed the Awakened town on Torment with an unarmored Shaper wielding a stick.
  10. If you use the towers of power, then try diplomacy first. Then attack.
  11. Nope. Made by cheap servile labor. In a sweathouse. Made by serviles. Using tools made by serviles, eating food farmed by serviles, and wearing clothes made of a servile killed by serviles, who were then forced to make his hide into a robe. And you wonder where the hostility comes from.
  12. Between the two, Nalyd would prefer the Girdle of Succor.
  13. Nalyd would still have it, but he put his desire in his signature and got five-star ratings. Way to crush his dreams!
  14. Wow. "Gone With the Wind" to "Time Travel". Excellent topic deviation.
  15. Really? Well, Nalyd is pretty sure that you don't get a reward if you help him. Although, it has been a while.
  16. From Nalyd's experience, repeated castings increase the difficulty of taking the curse/blessing off, i.e, if you cast essence shackles twice, the monster will have to cast haste an equal number of times to remove the effect, assuming both abilities are at the same level.
  17. If Nalyd remembers correctly, when you help Goetssch (Nalyd can never remember his name) he attacks you when you report to him after killing Trajkov. And, on an unrelated note, would Sven's last name happen to be Ovall?
  18. Nalyd isn't completely positive which is which, but the game operates the reputation on a single variable. Plus is good for rebels, minus is good for Shapers.
  19. Kind of like Nalyd's vision of canister-users becoming bloated and exploding from all the essence built up inside of them.
  20. If you mean "Can they fly?", then maybe, but they most likely don't have names that come up in the games.
  21. You can still refine it, though. It's. . . A little buggy.
