  1. Flourish [turn 2] Summary Power Available: 10 Actions taken: Rise - [shape Land, 3 cost] Offset - [shape Climate x 2, 4 cost] Power Remaining: 3 Running Bonus: +2 Actions Rise Solidified lava of countless eruptions gradually accumulates on the sea floor. Hundreds of years pass and, guided by Flourish, the buildup eventually breaks through to form a new stretch of land. For now, the new land is little more than ash wasteland, but its tale, like that of Tembra, is just beginning. Offset The volcanic emissions slowly choke Tembra. Flourish looks out on the work of the other deities, vast forests. With luck, more may help purify the air. Flourish fills the land to the east with a new kind of tree, only active in the warmest months. Legend
  2. I think it might be sensible for the legend to be a separate image, otherwise we'll run out of space for it.
  3. Flourish [turn 1] Summary Power Available: 8 Actions taken: Release - [shape Land x 2, 6 cost] Power Remaining: 2 Running Bonus: +1 Actions Release Deep beneath the seas of Tembra, Flourish stirs into consciousness, awoken by the world's pain. It feels the presence of others, and wonders how it came to be. Perhaps carried across the stars unbeknownst by one of the deities, perhaps simply unaware of itself until their arrival. Flourish tears a rift in the surface of the world to release the terrible pressure building within. Magma rises forth to fill the gap and create a chain of volcanoes.
  4. I think the plan was to ask about the BoA source at some point - I was going to try and get the windows editor up to the level of the mac editor first, but I haven't really bothered with that lately
  5. fished my emerald game out - Roxanne, Brawly, Wattson (will look for the rest too if nobody else knows them) - not sure about the badge names though...
  6. Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion Torchic, ...?, Blaziken
  7. ack all the ones i really knew properly are taken, here's some massive guesses. 3. Misdreavous? 7. Celebi? 9. Taurus? 16. Pikachu? 18. Kabutops?
  8. Actaully, I don't think the Windows version has an up-to-date enough version of the undo system to have this problem (yet), I'll make sure I use this fixed version when I finally get round to doing some more on the Windows editor.
  9. Do you have the latest 3d editor version? Does this happen in all town / outdoor sections? If you want to put the relevant scenario up somewhere I can try taking a look.
  10. No it's not, it's how you correctly open quotes in TeX.
  11. I quickly looked, I noticed you're doing quotes as 'blah' not `blah' so they're ugly in tex (sorry )
  12. yup nope kind of, A1-3 are wineskin'd (BoA is also included)
  13. I probably won't look at it until I've finished porting the mac changes over unless it's something that I broke since windows svn r90 or so. Are there any editor versions where it actually does work?
  14. Is this something I've broken? (i.e does an earlier revision of the windows editor on the svn work ok?)
  15. It used to be in the Blades of Avernum forum, not the Editor one, but got moved. If you see the original topic in the BoA forum it claims to have 0 replies / 0 views because it's just a redirect.
  16. ....and now Eccentric Eyebeast proper slider for tiles window - still needs background fixed selection tool improvements: now highlights things in magenta; can properly select signs & waypoints now too behind the scenes work and misc fixes Download HERE. Stuff's probably broken, tell me and I'll fix it. I'm hoping in a couple of versions time it will be at mac v1.2 level.
  17. Have you tried Niemand's Graphics Adjuster BainIhrno? That should allow you to open up the default graphics files.
  18. That looks good so far! I've been gradually updating the existing windows editor so that it's closer to feature parity with the mac version, so if you've only looked at the most recent windows version there are still several things missing. If it's not too much extra work, it would be nice if you could make a partial release at some point, even if it's just a version that provides a nice GUI for making data scripts. One thing I noticed with the aliases: it looks like a lot of extra typing (unless you have some kind of autocomplete thing?), instead of %item.sheet:Bread% could you just do something like %Bread% ? The aliases could depend on where they appear.
  19. arrow key movement now works (same link)
  20. Just to note that my version doesn't support PPC macs, so you might want to keep the old one in the header. Please say if you try it and it works/doesn't work!
  21. I made a few changes to an old version of the BoE source (r2, sorry!) just so that people could actually play BoE in some form if they're running Mountain Lion or Lion. First off, the bad stuff: i) I haven't tested it much - only the first town / outdoor section of the spiderweb scenarios ii) There are a couple of redrawing bugs on the main menu iii) (possibly bad) It *should* read both old mac and windows save files. It will always save as a windows-style save file, but I haven't checked that they actually work on windows yet. They *should* do. iv) You can get the diff with svn revision 2 here (on the bad stuff list due to messiness). v) no character / scenario editor Good stuff: i) download it here Please test it! I suspect there will be broken things, complain and I'll try to fix them. There's probably some stuff wrong with the code changes as well, I'll try to fix that too Sorry about not taking a more sensible revision's code, this is just meant as a replacement placeholder for the version currently in the forum header.
  22. ok, Eccentric Eyebeast is taking a little longer than expected, but on the plus side when it's done the windows editor will be substantially closer to the mac editor. It might well have the odd bug where I've forgotten to copy something over though, so it will probably need a bit of testing once it's out. Currently I'm copy/pasting object selection code over, so that should be a fair bit better. Depending on how buggy Eccentric Eyebeast ends up being, Flirtatious Firelizard could just be a minor fixes release then G the proper tools palette.
