Articulate Vlish DanNeely
Is there anywhere I can safely store loot I want to keep for potential use later on; but don't want encumbering me at present?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Pretty much anywhere, but make sure it's a neutral spot like a cleared zone. You might get attacked if it's a town and you change factions.
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
Pretty much anywhere; in older SW games you had designated spots for your loot, but since the days of Exile you can just drop loot anywhere and it should remain where it is. edit: argh! sniped! Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
I thought there was an item limit for zones in Geneforge like Avernum, right?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
200 items
Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
There is some limit, but it's oodles and oodles of items. If you're trying to assemble every object in the game, you'll have a problem. If you're just collecting spare pods / living tools / equipment, you should never have a problem. Garrulous Glaahk Little Fyora
Though it's a shame that you can't store items into boxes and containers until G3. Just sayin'.
Ineffable Wingbolt Upon Mars.
Well it's a game where you are on the move...
Garrulous Glaahk The Reincarnated Baron von Steuben
Malkasphia used the Quiet Marshes near the east exit. Just an example. After he cleared it.

Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
I use 5 piles of different item kinds, I put some space between them and it works like a charm. Tridon
Articulate Vlish Tridon
Who's Malkasphia ? It's a very quiet user on this forum with an extensive Youtube-collection of let's plays. His playthrough of Geneforge is here: I did not watch all of the episodes, but they are quite entertaining. At least they were for me, when I watched these inbetween my own playthrough of the game. I recommend checking them out
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Cmiller
I love Mal, Also if you liked his first playthrough make sure to see his Second Playthrough of Geneforge 2. I am amazed that he is finally playing G2. Awesome! This guy is legit :-).
