Nov. sadness?

It's an annual thing, though it's usually October.

Spiderweb Software, in a spasm of depression caused by the typically miserable Seattle autumn weather, has decided to cheer itself up by having a sale. The prospect of the next six months of unrelenting darkness, gloom, and Pacific northwest moisture has driven this small, independent game company to offer 10% off on all of its products for the month of October.

It's interesting that the months are feminine names and that only the Spring months are commonly used. I've also seen October, again as a woman's name.

—Alorael, who is just taking a roundabout way of saying he's going to be sexist and say that February is probably a she, not a he. And she absolutely doesn't deserve May.

Hail, Caesaris!

—Alorael, who is now considering further. Days of the week aren't names except for the fictional Thursday Next. Seasons can be: there's the famous Summer Glau, and he's also met an Autumn. But no Springs, oddly enough, even though those are the monthly favorites. Winter is apparently a feminine name too, but he's never encountered it. Except Milady de Winter, of course.
