Garrulous Glaahk Painted Lady
I am currently looking at some gloves that are enchanted with "Vampiric Touch." Does anyone know exactly what that means? For example, I am an Agent who normally uses Magic as my weapon. Does VT only work with melee items? I assume it is only effective on living creatures........
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Whenever you attack an enemy, there's a chance you can recover a very small amount of HP (less than 10 per attack). It can work with both melee and ranged attacks.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Also with non-damaging magic attacks like daze.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Aw dude sick! When were these added to the games? Is it only available in geneforge 5?
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Vampiric Touch is also in Geneforge 4, but it sucks. It takes many, many turns for it to restore the health lost from a single wingbolt hit. You're better off getting equipment that boosts a more useful skill. The carnelian gloves are also available in chapter 1.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Which do?

Trade the Vampiric gloves for the Carnelian gloves or not? I think you have answered my question. Thanks a lot.

Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
It's pro. It's Chuck Norris facts! They're an aged and respected meme. —Alorael, who would trade Vampire Gloves for just about anything. The healing is so minor, and healing in general is so easy, that you're better off just going with a higher armor bonus to reduce damage more. Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
So why is Waldo scared of Chuck Norris? These memes always seem to pass me by. My gran has more street cred than I do. For example, the Royal Opera House recently staged a production about Anna Nicole Smith. It was the first time I'd ever heard of her. Unflappable Drayk ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε
there is a famous book called wheres waldo. it is full of pictures in which waldo is hiding out. look here
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Chuck Norris is scary because he is memetically the toughest, most dangerous dude ever. If there's someone you need to hide from, it's Chuck Norris. —Alorael, who finds it to be a simple bad deduction. If Waldo is hiding, he is hiding from something. Chuck Norris is the most terrifying thing. Therefore Waldo is hiding from Chuck Norris.
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Yeah I actually heard of Waldo. (Except he's called Wally in the UK.) Alo's explanation makes so much more sense than Trenton's.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Well mine was simpler >.>
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
The simplest explanation is refusal to explain. It's also the least helpful. —Alorael, who considers the wall of inscrutable text explanation slightly more helpful. You may spend more time getting little out of it, but at least it's not condescending.
Kyshakk Koan Skwish-E
My favorite Chuck Norris Fact: Chuck Norris sleeps with a night light. Not because Chuck Norris is afraid of the dark, but because the dark is afraid of Chuck Norris.
