Domestic Abuse is a terrible thing to happen. Luckily for me most of the really bad stuff happened before I was old enough to be able to do something. I will say this-Sometimes in a marriage, it is better for you, them and everyone if your parents are alone and happy rather than sad and together. There might be a way to fix it if doesnt get worse but it seems like father has some pent up angst. People dont generally hit people on accident a large number of times and especially rude/mean for male partner to say watch what you are doing. He is probably upset with the marriage or is not happy for some reason. People usually behave their worst when they are depressed. I wish you all the best and would hope to talk to your father just you and him when mom is not present. As long as she is in vicinity, it could create problem.

You could try a paper-mache bazooka that shoots letters. Make sure the bazooka supports freeze cantrips, write the letter to jeff-he defrosts it and you are in business!

Its only through defeat that you can learn to get better. Accepting that nobody/none of us are perfect is what makes you human. That you are developing games as a sole leader living in your house AND I might add doing better than many people wish they could do-I'd say that you are doing pretty good. Let Miranda learn a thing or two about nephils, let randomizer learn how to breed gazers and let Alorael supervise.

Jeff really deserves props and I agree with his motto but mostly because its an indie company. If it was big company that would be hard to do at least in my eyes. I think when he does it, maybe he makes it so a game which captured a large amount of people, the next time around might capture a new crowd or the people that couldnt get into the 1st deal. The idea is not for everyone but it makes sense to me. I will say one thing though-Graphical improvements on my end do nothing. They're cool but I grew up on pokemon, golden axe and the works. Many of my friends say those games have bad graphics. I would say otherwise

Jeff doesn't really answer emails that much anymore. I used to talk to him quite a bit through emails. I cant remember the last time I got a response. They were all positive, I just think he is a busy guy. I have never had ANY luck with calling his office either. This would be maybe 2 years ago since I had any luck speaking with anyone.

I have played more action-rpgs but i am not listing them here. I really have to be able to get a large amount of replays out of it. Especially if you paid $40-60 dollars which luckily isnt the spiderweb motto

I love those games too. I was just focusing on group combat. I cant find any story driven games like the Avernum games where you can create a party. The other ones are mostly a-rpgs.

I cant find any on all platforms. Etrian Odyssey1-5 are all dungeon crawlers with no story Icewind Dale 1 and 2 I never got into I am sure Pillars of Eternity is the same as IWDale besides party based games are supposed to be turnbased! Might and Magic 6-9 are all action/rpg and not rpg Class of Heroes 1 and 2 and Elminage follow Etrian Odysseys theme. There are a few games I dont have and havent played but not sure of Pool of Radiance-Forsaken Lands for PS2 Metal Dungeon-Xbox 360 The only ones I can get into are Avernum series and Legacy from Redshift. Otherwise the rest of the games where you create a party are all action/rpgs like diablo. Can anyone point out a story-driven rpg like Avernum. I cant find any as the rest are all action/rpgs.

It wouldnt actually be called a spiderweb meetup unless Jeff himself were there. He'd also have to be dressed as his favorite creation. I prefer it if he dons the Tuesday Vlish. Thats much more colorful than the Sunday Glaahk.

Hey triumph. I need your help. I am at Maker's End and I am reading the faq on gamefaqs for this game. It says to insert a control rod in the control panel. My question is what area or where do I get a control rod at? I dislike his walkthrough as it goes through the areas in a convuluted way.

If there isn't a minimum and I have leadership at 6 and mechanics at 5, should I just still focus on Killin arts getting them higher? Unless the main last part of the game requires or makes the combat at the end impossible, I dont see how I will be able to raise those2.

Oh I am sorry man. I just found that. I didnt think I would get it but it did. Thanks for your help. While I am at it, I might as well ask now that Im rolling. My char is pretty much maxed with stats except I have low leadership (6) and Mechanics (5). I figured I might boost it later. Is there an absolute minimum on those 2 skills to complete the game? That would really help cause otherwise I am just going to boost intelligence and strength and what not even more.

I tried looking for a solution but there doesnt seem to be one. I am playing Geneforge 3 with a Shaper aligned-Agent. You get caught up with a creation battle alpha and no matter what I say to him he wont let me in main camp. I dont have enough leadership to get through the main camp. I could fight my way through but will that work? There's got to be another way through.

I liked the part about the end where jeff says everyone is going to poke fun at him. The word noob is always funny and especially when you are busting on yourself. Ok I think I got it. Your explanation made it more believable rather than me just saying way too many characters. I still didnt mind the game. I just preferred the story of the 1st. I wonder how they will end it.

Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines was a lot of fun at first. When I get into the 2nd chapter I usually get really really bored with it. It is no better than Gothic 1 and 2 or Morrowind. The leveling systems is terrible in that game too. Morrowind wasnt even about Vampires yet There were more possibilities with stats as the leveling system in VT-Bloodlines was one of the worst ones going. I like to exp grind through battles and get up to a higher experience level-Nope cant do I like to differentiate between character-Nope cant do-All builds are basically the same in Bloodlines-Melee with other perks, thats it I like to have magical weapons or at least weapons with stats and skills-Nope, there arent even any prefixes or suffixes on any items in that game. The only thing going is the plot but like I said it gets boring after a while. If it was true openworld I should be able to attack Lacroix in chapter 2. Forget about doing his dirty work! I want to play a free vampire!

But what is with the weird confusing plot? There is some guy that looks like Socrates and is 90 years old and what not. He is supposedly bad, then Redbeard is being redbeard (which is one of the only things I got And then Miranda is on the loose which I got. But who is the socrates guy?

What exactly is going on in Avadon 2 to an idiot (That's me). I just want to know in maybe a paragraph or two what the story is and who's doing what for plot. SPOILERS HERE!!! And while we are at it What in the heck is going in Planescape. Note-I have beaten both games but don't know what happened in them.

I always liked Pirates better than Ninjas. Ninjas were too too close to rogues whereas pirates were just more original. I liked my dungeons of dredmor pirate-like character too. However, the shadowalker (while closely resembling ninjas) is much cooler. The reasoning is that JV made shadowalkers. Nuff Said.

So the max for Crystal Souls is 50 The Max for Avadon is 40 The max for Avadon 2 is 40 And Avernum Escape from the Pit is 40 too? I dont know why I am thinking it is 100? Wait isnt that morrowind.
