  1. Hmm...So Shanker and the Adventurer would make excellent allies, and it would also be advantageous for the Empire Spy and Dionicio to strike up a deal with Machrone, since they're both interested in ascertaining people's roles (of course, the Spy and Dionicio wouldn't meet, but anyway...).

Well, revealing you are Machrone doesn't mean much unless you can provide proof. Pretending to be Machrone probably doesn't have many setbacks, since no one is enemies with him, and the real Machrone has weak attack abilities (and wouldn't be at much of a disadvantage with an imposter running around).

  4. DLs cannot be recruited by the Anama; *i recently added that. It's also worth noting that the DLs and the Necromancer share common enemies, since the Adventurer and the Empire Spy can both win by killing the Necromancer, and the Necromancer is competing with Shanker for the artifacts. It's nice to see that UBB finally let you log on, Master Ackrovan.
  5. Alright...since this thread has finally existed for five minutes straight: So the Anama Priest has only four potential roles that he can recruit: the adventurer, Dionicio, the Empire Spy, and Machrone (the Anama Hunter can, it looks like, since he or she isn't a magic-using role). Essentially, it would be to the priest's advantage that some of the mages end up dead.
  6. In order to have a world that big Jeff would pretty much be forced to include a whole slough of generic shopkeepers and fifty different people named Merry.

  9. I thought the Church of Divine Lucre was only on the surface, which explains why it's only seen in A3 (or at least that's what I recall).
  10. Thanks Smoo. (I knew it was going be something obvious like that...Way to go Excalibur)
  11. For some reason, I can't get these two states to work. The other states in the town work just fine, and I've checked over and over that I put in the right numbers with the editor. I've also checked the values of the SDFs, and that I didn't accidentally use them somewhere else in other scripts. Am I doing something wrong with the code here? Code: beginstate 14; if ((get_flag(3,3) >= 1) || (get_flag(3,2) == 0)) end(); if (party_size() >= 1) { reset_dialog(); add_dialog_str(0,"An alchemist has been slain. It's highly doubtful that whoever owns this place will act with hospitality. Whatever the case, these people are most likely bandits and not guards.",0); add_dialog_str(1,"Bandits aren't overly concerned about humanely treating prisoners. Fellow party members are still behind and must be rescued.",0); set_flag(3,3,1); } else { reset_dialog(); add_dialog_str(0,"An alchemist has been slain. It's highly doubtful that whoever owns this place will act with hospitality. Whatever the case, these people are most likely bandits and not guards.",0); add_dialog_str(1,"It's impossible to tell just how large this structure is. Somewhere there is a way out...if death doesn't occur between here and there.",0); set_flag(3,3,1); }break;beginstate 15; if (get_flag(3,4) >= 1) end(); reset_dialog(); add_dialog_str(0,"At first this room appears to be a barbaric display of grisly trophies. Yet closer inspection reveals that everything in this room is made of a hard, waxy material.",0); add_dialog_str(1,"The material is completely foreign, yet the mere existence of this room is more puzzling. Why would someone devote a room to fake trophies?",0); set_flag(3,4,1);break;
  12. I'm in my junior year and we've merely brushed quantum physics in chemistry, so yeah, you're learning something five years ahead of time.
  13. I'm in...again. Name: Excalibur E-mail: int80@sbcglobal.net Err...just send me the Windows version this time, it didn't seem to work the other way the last time around.
  14. I am about to read Sigmund Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams. Ironically, I had an extremely unusual dream (the kind you actually think is real for your first waking minutes) soon after I got it.
  15. I like vahnatai, as well as Ernest in E3.

  17. I never fought those two doomguards. I shielded myself (and switched party order so my tank was in the back) and ran back and forth between the levers. You run a high risk of dying, but it takes less time.
  18. Go to the west gate, enter the southern gatehouse, and walk south. (So the on the inside of the southwest wall, basically)

The version with Leonardo DiCaprio is just horrible. Speaking old English in a modern setting is really hard to follow.

I think Julio's reward is a spell, which is better than the item the mage in Egli gives you (something tells me it's an intelligence bracelet).
