  1. The instructor expected us to do dance moves in choir, so I complained that I was there to sing, not dance. I'll do a simple touch-step though!

The site is back up and an additional 24 hours have been added.

Am I the only one unable to access the site?

Spidweb 3 has ended. Congrats to Nioca! I thoroughly enjoyed screwing with Turkey.
  5. The federal government does fund some drug research, but developing drugs is a long and expensive process (over ten years and billions of dollars, usually) regardless of who's doing it.
  6. Because the mods and admins give them titles. They have a sense of humor, after all.
  7. As for the linked article: killing the sloth babies is definitely quite a moral dilemma. Then again, Fallout 2 lets you be insanely evil (you can enslave your companions!).
  8. When I read SoT's post I imagined a giant celery stalk with a syringe of pink quirk being injected into its head. Something must be wrong with my own head.
  9. Can mods not delete spam threads that other people have posted in?

    Squirrels

I was not aware that squirrels were so agile. Last summer I was weed-eating around some ground squirrel burrows. One of them darted out of a hole right into my weedeater. I wasn't impressed.
  11. Actually, MMXPERT's last thread was immediately locked.
  12. Ooooh, it's like a YouTube comments section! But with less racism!

I've seen player profiles with negative points in play. So I have no clue how it keeps track of points. And yeah, Spidweb 3 looks like a game of hot potato. Edit: Although, I do know that if a player has points staked in an anonymous game, those points do not display in his or her profile. That would explain the profile you showed above.
  14. That flashing yellow-thingy shows up all the time now. It's apparently been set to "Topics with over 25 replies or 150 views." Y'all might want to change that.
  15. I've noticed a minor difference with this UBB upgrade. Members can choose to be hidden on the Who's Online list (this seems to have been changed to the default), but you can see them anyways if you click on the more detailed list.
  16. It appears smaller for me as well.
  17. I'm guessing this is just UBB being UBB but I'm curious about the specifics. i.e. Where did the Who's Online list go? My preferences suddenly changed so that I was hidden from the list.
  18. Someone is going to jump into the Top Posters list pretty soon. Congrats!
  19. Excalibur: Cheers! He gulps down some peppermint schnapps and then passes it around the bus.

I'm not familiar with legalized prostitution in other countries, so this should be taken with a grain of salt. In Nevada prostitution is only legal in brothels, and said brothels have security cameras and sometimes guards. So the workplace violence is mostly eliminated, but I'd imagine that said prostitutes are still vulnerable outside of the workplace.

  22. I would much rather have disagreement over silence.
  23. Did you know that your PDN is misspelled?
  24. Ooh! I almost forgot this badass physicist!
