Im the original games battle shaping didn't come into its own until GF5. Part was reducing the effectiveness of the other two types and part was war thralls were so much better and unlike other battle creations they had a range attack.
GF2-I, a remake, has better rotghroths that have better resistances to some damage and more health to start.
The chief problem with solely using battle creations is few range attacks and plenty of places where they are needed.

Then you must be Taker aligned. Some Sholai come out of the doors to ambush you over the baton.

3) Icewall doors open after going into the lab to the west when you return. You'll undrstand why.

2) Was the cam p in a zone with a bridge? There are two army Sholai guard camps near bridges between the Obeyer and Taker areas and when you deal with one, both become abandoned.
3) That chest was deliberately inaccessible. It follows a long tradition games of inaccessible loot. Although some people developed a cheat to look and confirm the chests were empty

Look at the item description and there will be a line giving a bonus to hit chance if the item has one. Mostly swords and some bows in the original games. Jeff got rid of the bow bonus when he found that players would equip a bow just for the bonus.

Jeff mentioned in beta testing that he upgraded its duration to make it the most powerful version of terror in the game.
I still don't like using it and too many boss creations in the Taker Lands have high mental resistances when you would want to use it. Otherwise they don't have the health to withstand other attacks.

Since they aren't really mentioned until GF5 as an ambassador, I could see them as waiting on the sidelines during the Rebellion. Watching both sides weaken each other and gathering more information on new creations. Waiting until the last game to wipe out the victor and takeover.

I'm assuming that you are running a Shaper with fire creations, so there is no need to boost Battle Magic when using seater. You get less damage on the initial hit, but future acid damage is based on target level so that makes no difference. The only reason to level up is if you are going to get airshock which would be several levels more of BattleMagic.
Having more powerful creations works out better since they will do more damage and have more health so they are less likely to die or go rogue.

For the Thahd... not any real idea.
What I mean, is that it is a strange design choice.
I'm guessing hardcode makes it possible to have a single check after the Secret Tunnel rather than a check in all remaining zone scripts. Since the zones are numbered and you can't have those NPCs in a zone higher than that one.

In Jeff's latest Bottom Feeder, post-mortem on Geneforge 2 - Infestation.
Queen's Wish 3 will be made some day just to finish the trilogy. However because of poor sales for QW2, it will probably be delayed for more profitable remakes.

You can get 1000 coins from not killing Stanis, which isn't much and will displease the Shaper Council in the end.

There are different mine types (colors) that use a different baton. Some aren't found until later in the game.

There maybe a time where you are low on power and know that you don't ave enough to fight your way out. Then a recall crystal is useful.

Gloves of Mastery are great if you are doing regular spells since they have a chance of additional spells per round.
Swapping items for mechanics when needed is quite common.

You would need to reset the sdf (stuff done flag) for the event and also edit the script to spawn the Bound One.
It is possible and there are others who could tell you more

I never saw that as a bug. I've done that area a dozen times.
If you don't finish the whole tower, all the earlier traps reset.

The first one, the Investigation, might be if you used leadership to skip needing two things to gain the Sholai trust to do the Canister Factory quest.
Not sure why you aren't getting the second one about the Lapidary Ruins clearing. Maybe cycle through the dialogue options to see if it is after another option.

Jeff designed this version of the game to make you use creations! He emphasized that during beta testing and wanted the game tested on all difficulties using creations. He repeated tweaked the creations and items to make them better for creations. This is the only class that is over powered because and army of creations can do more than a solo character.
Although in the Overrun mod, you can see that it's possible to make some creations even better that failed in the Shaper analysis. Just remember that Jeff will use that against us in the GF3 remake.
Now it is possible to play the game even on torment difficulty as a solo Agent or Guardian and do almost every fight even in the expert area, Gazak-Uss. You may have to do the game in a different order and some fights will be harder. Fighting the Drakon Master on torment difficulty takes about 14 rounds with creations. Fighting him as a solo guardian took about 45 rounds and using several canisters to get greater damage per round.
Trying to balance the game so everything is equal is almost impossible. A min/max character will always do better that other characters. So it's hard to balance out everything.

If you want to collect all the rewards, then yes. If you don't care about the reward canisters, then no.

Some of the Risien Shades will call weaker minions which is what is confusing you. So you need to kill them quickly or retreat so they have to follow and you can pick them off one at a time.

Most merchants outside the faction cities and adjacent are fixed prices to everyone. Some like in First Muck will only trade with Awakened.

Check the quest list to see if he now wants tall shrubs. Another check is go back to Sharon and mention the Grimwing quest to see if she opens a gap in her trash pit to them.

I got stun status once on the Drakon Master with its !00% stun resistance. It still got all its scripted attacks.
Guardian Push is nice early game because it has two different useful curse statuses, so usually at least one takes even on a boss. The chances of it working decrease rapidly in the middle game as more are resistant to it.

While there are many differences on how these work in the remakes, you get some ideas of just making battle creations and sending them off to wreck mindless havoc. The remake requires you to actually make this mindful havoc.
