  1. About eyestalks and where to find them. Click to reveal.. If I remember you can only get two eyestalks. One from under the town of Muck and the other from one of the islands in the dragons land.
  2. I like the Putrified Gauntlets and would suggest making a save before getting it and then testing it out to see if you like it too. If you don't just go back to your save and you will have back all your ingredients.
  3. I walked into every wall in A1-3 looking for any secret walls. That was what I liked about the old keyboard lay out that let me use the keypad to navigate so much because it made bumping the wall easy to do. Then in A4 it took me two weeks before I found out there were no secret walls. By then I had almost finished the game.
  4. Is there a way to find one of these tables? I want to get into a starters game again and try it out but I don't know where to start looking for people.
  5. Turns out that the shock of the reworking of the interface of A1-3 to A4 is what has kept me from playing any of the Geneforge games. A bad reason to not try them out.
  6. I will say that I liked how A5 played compared to A4 and recommend trying it out. The interface change from A3 to A4 was a large shock to me as I have never played Geneforge. Edit: Spelling Check
  7. A2 is my winner. Big fights and lots of area to cover it seems.
  8. I have used the journal before and it helps. Just make sure you do not record ever conversation or you will have a lot of dialog to go through.
  9. Erika is the best ever. She would have won if Rentard wasn't a cheap fighter.
  10. As for the Rat King quest there are different people that want the land so you have to choose one of them to report back to and finish the quest. Let me look into the portal quests as my memory is not pulling up the order of events to finish it.
  11. Sounds like Erfworld. They have Gobwins and Dwagons.
  12. I would like to see a return of the Rakshasa even if they do not play a pivotal role. Nothing scared me like the Rakshasa in E2/A2 and I found that part of the game more challenging.
  13. Where did you pick this trash up from? I want to go hunt it down.
  14. I am now reading "La aventuras de Don Chipote; O, cuando los perico mamen." It deals with the mistreatment of Chicano/a immigrants in the 1920.
  15. The books were ok to read but only so I could talk about it with all the girls. They are not worth reading more then once, but then almost no single book is worth reading more then once.
  16. I am reading Riptide by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I am also reading The Gunslinger by Stephen King because I heard that it was good.
  17. I just started Brisinger today. I hope it was worth the two week wait on the waiting list at the library.
  18. If it is the area that has the small pond with an island in the middle and four bridges that connect it to the land then what you are looking for is a tele-porter that can we found in the west path. Look for a secret switch to open the door to the tele-porter.
  19. Rowen has been in every Exile/Avernum game that I have played with Nixak showing up as his pole weilding side-kick. They are immortal in my mind.
  20. And each of those chitrachs killed me many times over. I just wish I could have set fire to the Eastern Gallery let it burn up killing everything in it.
  21. Have you killed anyone in Muck? If so then Vera might be one of those victims. I had the problem of taking on quests and then killing everyone in that same town before I finished the quest.
  22. I like thrown weapons and by-passed the weight of them by have a ton of the weapon in my "pack" that does not carry any weight penalties and then just refilling the ammo slot with 6 thrown weapons at a time as I used them.

It doesn't say that Jeff should not see this thread nor does it state that he should, it's open to personal traslation. I just remeber back to A5 and that Jeff did watch the boards and take in advice from the players and use it when was something he deemed of worth in the game.
  24. In reagards to idea number one, the game Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age did this by making a new party for the first half of the second game. The only draw back is that I had leveled my party from the frist game up so hight that I didn't find the second game a challenge once I could use them. I could see this being the same problem with almost any game that has a sequel, let alone 4 sequels. Thats my two bits.

It nice to see that goblin my fighter is going to squish. At the same time I also miss the "open" feeling that the A1-A3 graphics had by making everything so small.
