Burgeoning Battle Gamma Walker White
Is that canister in the corner accessible, or is it just there to mock me? I cannot find any secret door switch on the north wall of the west building, and this is including pixel-hunting ala Avernum style for a switch mechanism in the wall. Furthermore, there is absolutely no evidence in the scripts of any terrain modification code (e.g. a secret door mechanism).
Well-Actually War Trall Delicious Vlish
There is a lever hidden behind a pillar. In the general area. Down in the bottom right corner of the area. Very difficult to spot.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
Wait, where is Bennhold's keep?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
It's a secret area accessible only if you have been doing the Bennhold quests.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
It's in the Dera Reaches, in the far southwest of the map. You have to complete a series of bandit-hunting quests for the guard captains of each major city in order to find it.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
I killed the Murkwood (which is, by the way, a name stolen from The Hobbit) Woods bandits, banished Crenshaw, and then came to a dead end. Is this part of them? If so, how do I continue?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Did Crenshaw mention Bennhold when he talked to you? He should have. Go back and report it to the captain of the guard in Mera.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You were told to talk to the guard commander in Perikalia for the next part of the quest. You'll get sent to Thistlewoods for the next message hidden in a chest.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
Yes, Crenshaw mentioned Benhold. I didn't report it to the guard, but I think I told Astoria about it. I'll go back and talk to the guard, if I need to. I'll also talk to the Guard Commander in Perikalia. Thanks, both.

It seems that the hidden levers are Jeff's way to make up for the loss of the ol' Exile/Avernum secret passages. At least the levers don't force you to spend hours walking into every wall square. You sure about that? I seem to remember them in some sorta pillar puzzle in one of the earlier Avernums.

Since the G5 version has nothing to do with the LotR version, I think it says more about how forests are often named and one property that they can have than anything else. —Alorael, who is pretty sure that all plausible names for forests and oceans have been taken already. There is nothing new written under the sun.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Myrkwood first appears in the Norse Elder Eddas. This predates Tolkien who got it from there and Jeff who got it from somewhere.
